That's typical of the 37 studies I had - although I didn't pay much attention to hourly rates as I had no intention of completing them!olgadapolga said:

A study about resources
By socsc.smu.edu.sg£3.00 • £15.06/hr11 mins0 placesThis is a study on how resources are allocated. You will be engaged in making decisions on how to allocate resources. You will be randomly paired with another team member. The team member will be a computer program. Participation should take around 15 minutes.Began this study and after about 5 mins in, after reading the instructions and just about to start the 'game', I had a message stating 'Unfortunately we have enough respondents' and to return the study!Well I wasn't having any of that, this is not Qmee after all, so I deleted the Qualtrics page cookies and started the study again and this time completed it.I was paid straight away as well so my perseverance paid off
Just waiting for the bonus payment.

No I've not heard back from this one yet either. But I was told I would receive the further invite by the 26th.abba1772 said:Everyday experiences study
By reading.ac.uk£0.30 • £10.91/hr1 min 0 placesThis is a sign-up for a full study (£60) through Prolific, to which you will then be invited. It will involve an initial zoom session with our researchers, where they will tell you more about how to complete the remainder of the study, and lead you through a short set of surveys. This session should take 30 minutes to complete. For the next 21 days, we will then ask you to complete a survey, once every evening after 8pm (but as late as you like!), reflecting on your experiences that day.
Has anyone received £60 for the 3 week daily survey yet. They said if I hadn't received an invite to a survey by the 22nd I was to let them know and they now don't seem to be answering their messages

Earlier on, I took "Exploring Langauge Markers -2nd phase-" which timed out whilst I was awaiting a response from the researcher to a question. I think the researcher got the pay wrong here; it was advertised at £13 and I suspect it should have been £1.30.
Then I had "Box Task" which was extremely underpaying, although I did see that the 'Report Study' function was back - I definitely took advantage of it on this one!
Good luck to anyone who takes these two studies!
Did the "Exploring Langauge Markers" include exploring alternative spellings of "language"?
Haha well spotted! Yes, that was the study title verbatim. It was actually a whole lot of speaking, but broken down into very small chunks. It does put me off a bit when researchers can't even spell the study name correctly, however in this case, £13 for what was posted as a 10 minute was too good to pass up (even though I discovered it was closer to 30!).0 -
World Cup 2022 Fans' Behaviour
By Ines Ferreira£0.45 • £7.86/hr3 mins0 placesThe purpose of this study is to uncover what football fans' behaviour in the UK will be during the World Cup.
This one is worth doing even if you have no interest in football, some of the questions are bizarre. Generally along the lines of how much you expect the world cup to effect your drinking habits and sex life!

I completed this study, but was slightly concerned that it displayed my personal email address on the screen, so had somehow 'harvested' that. I wasn't too concerned as it was the email address I use for junky stuff rather than my main one, but I reported it as collecting personally-identifying information anyway.silvercar said:World Cup 2022 Fans' Behaviour

It clearly said it wasn't being recorded, I think it is the default for a google created survey type page.C_J said:

Anyway there are many reasons why the answer to a question along the lines of "after which footballer would you name the love child conceived on a one night stand during the world cup" is not going to be worth data harvesting by anyone.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Anybody have the one about a New Online Discussion Technology? I found the whole thing very confusing, so will be very surprised if I get paid as I am not sure I completed it properly, although I did get to the end and get a completion code.Making the debt go down and savings go up
