I went through a recent period like that but things have picked up slightly for me, so I hope you have a similar experience.

Well today has been interesting....
Earlier on, I took "Exploring Langauge Markers -2nd phase-" which timed out whilst I was awaiting a response from the researcher to a question. I think the researcher got the pay wrong here; it was advertised at £13 and I suspect it should have been £1.30.
Then I had "Box Task" which was extremely underpaying, although I did see that the 'Report Study' function was back - I definitely took advantage of it on this one!
Good luck to anyone who takes these two studies!0 -

Did the "Exploring Langauge Markers" include exploring alternative spellings of "language"?0 -
Everyday experiences study
By reading.ac.uk£0.30 • £10.91/hr1 min 0 placesThis is a sign-up for a full study (£60) through Prolific, to which you will then be invited. It will involve an initial zoom session with our researchers, where they will tell you more about how to complete the remainder of the study, and lead you through a short set of surveys. This session should take 30 minutes to complete. For the next 21 days, we will then ask you to complete a survey, once every evening after 8pm (but as late as you like!), reflecting on your experiences that day.
Has anyone received £60 for the 3 week daily survey yet. They said if I hadn't received an invite to a survey by the 22nd I was to let them know and they now don't seem to be answering their messages

I've just opened Prolific to find 37 studies waiting for me, all from a researcher called Jens Lau. Web search on debated topics
By Alisa Rieger£1.80 • £9.73/hr11 mins32 places(For the record, I wasn't screened out and payment of £1.80 was instant after finishing the study.)In our study, we are especially interested in specific pre-existing opinions and will exclude participants after the first part if they do not hold such an opinion on any of the topics. Thus, although it is likely that you meet this criterion for at least one of the topics, there is a chance that we exclude you from the study after the first part. If that is the case, your submission will be automatically returned, and you will receive a partial payment of £0.30.Is this allowed? I thought if researchers want to screen participants like this they are supposed to do it via a separate screening study?
