I have a daily diary study where the instructions are to complete within a 4-hour window as close to bedtime as possible. I don't know what time it popped up but I decided 9.30 was too early as I don't go to bed till 12. Return to it at 10.05 and it's been returned because I missed the time slot.
Not happy if I lose the bonus because they presume everyone has an early night.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Elsien - I'm doing this one too for 3 weeks. Assuming it's the same study, they said in the initial zoom briefing it was ok if we "forgot" to complete 1 or 2 of the diary entries as we would still get paid. This wasn't your fault as they did say the diary would be open until midnight so I think you'll be fine. I always get it at 8pm and fill it in not long after that as I go to bed early! Although I've completed it every day (my 3 weeks were up last night) I haven't gone into much detail with each entry so I'm hoping it was enough.

Learning and memory study PART 1/2

    By V R G

    Dear Participant

This study involves 2 different parts where you will be asked to complete some questionnaires about mood and 1 memory task. During the task, we will also ask you to hear some sounds. The task is challenging so please read the instructions carefully!!

The first part (memory task) will take about 15 minutes to complete, and the second part (the questionnaires) will take around 20 minutes. You will have 48hrs to complete each part.

YOU MUST COMPLETE ALL 2 PARTS TO BE PAID!!!! So please do not take part if you will not have time to complete the 2 parts within the timeframe. You will receive 3.50£ for completing the study  (average of 1.75£/part).

I completed the first part 48hrs ago but have not seen any sign of the second part.  I have messaged the researcher but had no reply yet.

I do hope they are OK and have not had some kind of accident?

Edit - Part two was waiting when I logged on Monday morning and I had been paid for part one, so all good.

In this study we will explain how to graphically represent a social group, examine your social perception, and ask about your attitudes toward a social group.

Just about to pop over the butchers and buy half a pound of dingos kidneys for tea and this one appeared.

It took me a fair bit longer than the quoted time mind you, but as I found it quite interesting I decided to let them off

Not too bothered as I've already exceeded my average monthly earnings this month.

I’ve had one that appeared all yesterday and today about an aversive experience at work which I can’t do unless I make one up, not planning to do that. Otherwise I’ve been too busy to check which I don’t mind because it might mean I get more again in the next couple of days.

Yes, week days are always better, which suits me better anyway.

    Leadership Self Awareness Part 1

    By queensu.ca

    Hello,

You are invited to participate in a survey studying leadership self-awareness at work. We are looking for business managers in the field to complete a two-part survey totaling 30 minutes. Those who continue via Prolific will be given the 10-minute survey, and 24 hours following will be invited to complete the second 20-minute survey.

Compensation is £4 Total for completing both surveys. The breakdown is as follows:

    Part 1: 10 Minute Survey at £1.34

    Part 2: 20 Minute Survey at £2.66

Participants who complete Part 1 but not Part 2 will be compensated for their time in Part 1.

19.00 hrs Sunday evening and I am not usually logged on but I had not yet shut the laptop down that I use for Prolific.

I was just about to watch a movie (Bone Tomahawk) when this caught my attention so I could not resist and it did indeed only take a few mins so now waiting for part 2.

I saw that experience at work one and had similar thoughts, as well as looking well under paid considering the typing involved. so I gave it a miss as well.
