Talk with an AI about any topic Copy

Did anyone else get this study and find it's running painfully slowly? I'm already far, far beyond the estimated completion time (and have already messaged the researcher). Just wondering if it's me or if anyone else had \ is having issues with it?

I could not get a place, I kept getting a message stating the study was no longer working, or words to that effect, so I gave up.

After about 40 minutes, the researcher sent a blanket message to all participants asking them to return the study due to technical problems. Shame, because had it worked smoothly, it would have been an extremely fun exercise.

    A Study of Human Decision-Making

    By chicagobooth.edu
    £1.65 • £9.30/hr10 mins

I was almost despairing with this Study.  It seemed to take me ages to grasp the instructions before even starting this '10 minute' Study.  In total it took me 36 minutes (not 10) and, being honest, I was incapable of understanding the instructions effectively and completing the Study in anything close to the suggested 10 minutes.

I know I am generally quite slow but this Study, in terms of time and understanding, was just about beyond me.    I finished and was not timed out but still felt quite discouraged..

I'll be pleased to hear how anyone else got on.  Thanks.

I completed this one today (and the pre-qualifying study too).  Close to £25 for my troubles but don't know if Harvard University have yet met someone who can walk past their best friend without noticing!

I felt the same about the instructions, it seems to be a bit of a theme with studies lately to make the instructions overly complicated.

Took me a lot longer than 10 mins as well and whilst I have been paid the £1.65 I assume that I will not get any bonus payments.
  • Thanks yupiteru.  I've also been paid the £1.65,

    A study about algorithms

    By Sandra Costa

    Dear participant,

This is a short survey about the use of algorithms in your organisation. Please, only take the survey if your organisation uses algorithms.

Algorithms are precise recipes that specify the exact sequence of steps required to solve a problem. Algorithms are increasingly able to reliably perform and potentially even outperform humans in a growing number of tasks. Algorithms can be applied to different areas such as Human Resource Management or Customer Service.

Please read and pay attention to all questions. The survey will take 7-8 minutes. Your honest and accurate answers are crucial to this research. Poor quality submissions will be rejected.

Secured a place on this study but then failed to think of any examples off the top of my head, so thought it best to return the study rather than trying to fabricate something.

Of course a few minutes later I remembered an algorithm used in the recruitment process - just my luck.

    Work Experiences of Leaders

In this study, we'll ask you to complete one survey where you will be asked to recall and write about an interaction you had with your employees at work. We will then ask some follow-up survey questions about that interaction. This study will take 10 minutes and will pay $3.00.

Quite a lot of typing involved so the quoted completion time was a rather optimistic and according to my stop watch actually took me 28 minutes.

I am a bit slow mind you and no doubt many would be able to complete this study quicker, but I feel 10 mins is stretching things a bit.

I just did this one. Agree that 10 mins is an underestimate.

Pretty boring survey as it asks you the same multiple choice questions about 8 times at the end.

Label high and low quality messages from an AI

Hosted by Joe from Pie Platform

I persevered with this for about 42 minutes before abandoning it. It was supposed to take 17 minutes. I was never able to proceed to the next page after two and two of the questions I had answered and 'saved' still showed as unanswered.

I'm not sure if there was a technical problem or if maybe I was doing something wrong but I Returned the Study.I contacted the Researcher but, so far, no reply.
