Well, I spoke too soon, I have not completed one single study today yet and the one or two that appeared, as soon as I clicked on them, the message 'The researcher has paused the study' came up.

A curiously specific study! I dont' qualify for it, I can't imagine many people do:
STUDY for people who have had a TOE, FOOT or LEG AMPUTATED (cut off) by a doctor NOT caused by an INJURY or ACCIDENT
By Q-Team @ McMaster University https://qportfolio.org/£0.36 • £10.54/hr2 mins31 places2 -
The infuriating thing is that, despite having regularly clicked on "Not interested", I have been offered this study again and again - at least four times so far.

It has been 'hanging' on my Studies page all afternoon. I haven't tried to click on 'Not interested' because I'm not sure if that shows as a Returned Study. I just hoped the Study would go away but it is still there.
It was down to 20 places at one point but is back up to 42 now.
I have not received any more Studies since the 'big' one last night.1 -
Did anyone have this one? I lost the will to live after clicking for 10 minutes for just one of the sections of the survey. Never want to see a drain grid again!.... Seems like the pay out has been increased though!

Thanks very much MollyR. I'll try clicking 'Not interested' and see if it goes away.
Update - it's gone, thank you again!0 -
Spot Rings and Dots FS Pseudo
By bbk.ac.uk£3.10 • £9.39/hr19 mins0 placesIn this study, you'll see different images presented around the screen while you keep your eyes focussed at the centre of the screen. Most of the objects do not require a response, but every now and then there will be objects that do require a response, and we will ask you to press a button as quickly as you can when you spot them.
Please note, you will need a physical keyboard for this study, so please complete on a laptop or desktop computer, or a tablet with a physical keyboard. Please begin the study as soon as you click the link, to avoid timing out.
Due to some images being presented very briefly, we suggest people with epilepsy do not participate.
It appears that you have to complete the practice sessions 100% correctly before you can move on the main task sessions.
I would prefer this type of study over workplace tick box exercises as this is a lot more fun.
Took me 22 minutes to complete as I struggled to complete the first practice sessions, but I did initially think it was a bit of a set up, as I could not see what was supposed to be there in the beginning at all and then I started using a setting of 200% screen zoom and I could just about make things out, but it may simply have just been a combination of my eyes and my old laptop.

I got onto this one a short while ago. not too bad, reacting to letters or objects coming onto the screen, and a short survey
