I completed this Study (the only Study I have managed to successfully access today) and it involved quite a lot of awkward typing.  Although I read the initial instructions and clicked to start straight away, I later noticed that participants should be from the US.  Since the remuneration $3 was in £'s £2.35 I hope it was O.K. for me to participate in this study from the UK.

Did anyone else do the same and not notice until later that, after the initial information, it was mentioned that participants should be from the US?

Crimson - you're not alone. This one popped up for me this evening too. Like you, I only noticed about wanting US candidates after I had started it. I did the initial typing part but they then couldn't pair me with another participant to do the second part. As a result the survey was terminated but I still got a completion code. We may get an email asking us to return but hopefully not!

Thanks MrsWhippy.   I was paired with another participant but, on completion, there was no code.  Because your Study was terminated, through no fault of your own, and you received a completion code, I'll be surprised if your submission is not accepted.

If I hear anything I'll report back and please do the same.

Strange that you completed it and got no completion code and yet I didn't fully complete it but did get a code. Hopefully the US thing won't be an issue for us. I'll report back if I hear anything.

Just as I was typing this I received notification that mine had been approved - the same as yours for the full amount too.  It's a good outcome for both of us.

I did the study too.  I was paired with someone else, and we were told to introduce ourselves by saying what sort of potatoes we liked.  They said chips, and I said saute, and we agreed that we were both clearly not American.  At the end they said that there would probably be no code, but not to worry.  My reward came through pretty quickly.

It was exactly the same for me, yupiteru.  I was ready to start straight away, after reserving my place, then the dreaded Gorilla Platform red oblong box appeared and - Study Full:  No choice other than to Return the Study.
