    Personality research study II

    By Christopher Jackson

Did anyone else do this study and was it full of errors and mistakes for you, some of the questions had no appropriate answers

Yes I did this one.  I noticed only one question where the final word was missing and one or two questions that were a bit odd but apart from that it was ok, just a little boring.
Halfway through it suddenly stopped and I got an error message but that may have been something else tech related.  I did get paid immediately after finishing though so all good from my point of view.

I did, and there were a fair few questions that seemed cut off midway through (where the statement or question was nonsense like this, I selected 'Neither Agree nor Disagree'). Pretty easy, a little dull, great pay and instantly approved.

Toward a New Measurement of Personality

    By uni.sydney.edu.au

"I will tick "disagree" to prove I am paying attention".

    Just think that one through...

I messaged the researcher about it.  It's almost as good as the sign I saw in a shop during lockdown: "please stay outside the hatched area unless requested to do so".

Completed this one this morning and I also got the error message.  I used the back arrow and that seemed to work as it continued OK from then on, took me about 40 mins which was quicker than I expected.

Some of the questions were a bit odd and I these tick box exercises are always going to be tedious.

  • A study about speech transcription - Northerners, Scottish, Welsh & Northern Irish speakers only

Did anyone do this and find the intense level of background static made it more difficult than it needed to be, i.e. not the actual words themselves?

What was the reason for only wanting northerners?!

I'm more interested in their definition of North, given that for some people the North starts at Watford.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

    Workplace Screening Survey

    Hosted by Ting Zhang

I completed this Study (the only Study I have managed to successfully access today) and it involved quite a lot of awkward typing.  Although I read the initial instructions and clicked to start straight away, I later noticed that participants should be from the US.  Since the remuneration $3 was in £'s £2.35 I hope it was O.K. for me to participate in this study from the UK.

Did anyone else do the same and not notice until later that, after the initial information, it was mentioned that participants should be from the US?

Conversely, a day or two ago they were wanting people from the south of England.  I never found out if I qualified because it was full.
