Prolific seems to be very glitchy at the moment.  Anyone else had a study get to 22 days and not pay out?  One of mine is now 23 days old and still nothing.  Prolific say they are aware of the problem and are "working on a fix".  The fix would be to pay manually!  This is what they have done in the past when this happened.

Thanks for the heads-up.  I took a look, and find I've got one survey which has been waiting since 7th April - and it's worth £1.15, so I'm not going to let it go!

Is there any way to filter my submission history, so as to show only those studies which have not paid out yet?

I have already done £3.40 worth of submissions, and am very happy with Prolific.

I did the one about matching faces which was worth £2.50. It was about forensic face matching. I feel like I'm doing something worthwhile and contributing to science in a little way.
I have got over £2.3k on Prolific now - its generally and quite easily the best of the survey providers.

Although that said at this exact second it is fishing me off because its not loading properly....flippin IT.
Oh wow, how long did that take you to earn that much?

I earnt another £1 earlier today while doing a Zoom meeting  :D  I had to imagine myself on a board of directors on big company and what that would entail and how I would behave. Took about 6 minutes (they said 4)
I joined in 2017 - but I do also work full time so I dont get as much as maybe some other people do. Generally its solid and I rarely get a DQ. I use it in conjunction with Qmee and to a smaller extent Swagbucks. And Populous / YouGov, but surveys are much less frequent with those two.

I recommend you get the Prolific extension on Google Chrome, which alerts you for new surveys and is helpful - note the extension is not officially from Prolific.

It looks like I can get back into Prolific now :)
Thanks for your reply, £2300 is amazing. Can I ask how much you earn from Qmee? Is it worth it? The thread on here seems less positive about it than about Prolific.

I have already cashed out £5.85, and have another £3.40 in the wings!

Is it just me or is anyone else having issues with the studies and researchers on prolific
studies I am ineligable for appearing on my studies list emails for studies that when i click on again I am inelagable
A study rejected as my results were not what the researcher expected have no idea what that means
A study were I was 25 minutes in and a qr code wouldn't open I returned this and message the researcher who sent me a link to compete and promised payment as soon as I had completed it 5 days later and no payment
A study which gave me a 403 forbidden error as soon as I opened it so I returned this and message the researcher they thanked me for noticing and said they would reopen it with the appropriate link no use to me as I had already returned it I then got a message in all caps saying I needed to return the study as they didnt have any data from me and they couldn't afford to pay me and if I didn't they would reject it.
And on top of this lots of studies which are taking well over the estimated completion time

No, not having any of those issues other than the number of surveys popping up that have no places, or they tell me I’m ineligible when I click the link.
I’m pretty sure that’s a prolific blip rather than the researchers. Not had any that have taken longer then they should, or any technical issues. Either I’ve been lucky or you’ve been unlucky.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Yes I am having all these issues too. It's quite frustrating. I think Prolific haven't sorted out all their glitches. One strange thing I have noticed is that studies like this appear on Prolific app but not on the Prolific Assistant alert which suggests to me that maybe the filter on the app isn't working properly.

I also had that 403 forbidden error yesterday but suspect that was an issue of the Researcher.

Has anyone had studies immediately submitted by the app after reserving a place but before actually starting the study properly? This has been happening occasionally for the last 2 or 3 months. When it does happen strangely the Completion Code is of another completed study I had done 2 or 3 days earlier.

Anyone who completes the study about 'measuring personality traits' within the 16 minutes stated - I take my hat off to you. 123 pairs of questions to answer in 16 minutes ?  I've returned it 'cos I'm old and slow.

I have nearly (not quite totally) given up trying.  For a full day from early morning till I logged out when going to bed about 11.30 pm every single one of many notifications of 'New study available on Prolific' was 'Study full'  - even when clicking on the link immediatiately it arrived.
This happens with Prolific Assistant (Firefox) on my laptop and (no Prolific Assistant) on my tablet when I am logged in and a survey shows as being available.I contacted just one researcher to ask, as there were said to be about 65 places remaining, but I received no reply.
I'll try again today but yesterday's experience was frustrating.  It has happened a number of times before - but never a whole day of, although I lost count, about 15 studies clicked on immediately, only to already be full.    Maybe I'm just unfortunate.
It's a pity because I really enjoy the studies and some are very interesting.  I'm most grateful for the 'rewards' too.  Has anyone else had this prolonged 'Study full' problem when a number were said to be available?
    Thank you.
