Design Similarity Evaluation Task (approx. 7-10 min.) Copy

Did anyone else do this study I was only about 3 minutes in when it was manually approved and an ajustment made as it was underpaying looks like the completion time was nearer 30 minutes than the 7-10 estimated
Has another one today which said 7 minutes and toke me 15 this has already had an adjustment payment as well wondering if prolific is having a crack down on researcher who are deliberately under estimating there study times to pay less than they should.

I had one yesterday which DQed me at the very start because it didn't like my screen resolution (which is perfectly normal).  I told the researcher what had happened, and they paid me a bonus of 50p by way of apology.

I did what I am certain is an almost identical study - "Design Similarity Evaluation Task (approx. 20-40 min.) v3" and it must rank as one of the worst studies I've done in my 2 years as a Prolific member. The pay was reasonable (£5 and it took about an hour, longer than their estimate) but by jingo, never again.

I complained about this one but haven't received a reply or any money. I spent 20 minutes on it and I was only on 22 out of 100 evaluations. It was because I was getting 10 pages of comparisons per one evaluation but the description made it sound like you would just be doing 100 comparisons.
I am getting a bit irritated with researchers underestimating the times. I have had several studies that were supposed to be 2-3 minutes long that involved a writing task. I am a pretty fast typist but even I could not get to their word count within that time limit, especially as you obviously need to think what to say as well.

ive been getting a lot of surveys popping up lately. usually its been 1 or 2 a month. im so shocked to have 6 yesterday and 4 today.

also yesterday i had an awful screen check questionnaire to complete. i was rejected due to a confusing question about Tracey, her mum and her grandmother. it made no sense. they sent me a message telling me why im rejected. so i complained to them. after a few messages they paid up. this was after i told them i'm reporting the survey as a scam.

I've had the same "Job search" study pop up about half a dozen times today. I don't fit the eligibility requirements detailed in the description, so I keep clicking "Not interested," but it keeps coming back.

I've had this a number of times too, despite clicking not interested. I'd happily do it, but i don't meet all the criteria they require so i don't know why it keeps popping up on my page.

I got a few lately where no device is specified, and I get a dire warning at the start that I may not be complying with the researcher's wishes as to device - but then I am allowed to continue and complete the survey.

Anyone else had a strangely prolific day on Prolific?

I've had 14 studies - must be my highest amount ever in over 5 years on there.

:o No - in fact I've been getting so desperate (1 place left studies that were full by the time I clicked) I clicked on one about knee rehabilitation that I had no clue about and had to return. Also, one which advertised a bonus payment if you found a prize hidden behind a door, which I did, but got no bonus.  Have contacted the researcher.
