After three years on Prolific and numerous surveys I have had one rejected because I failed an attention check. I'm a little surprised because I am always so careful to give my full attention to surveys. This is the first time that this has happened to me. Does this mean that I will get less surveys from now on?0

No, it shouldn't do. Only if there is a pattern of having lots of surveys rejected.
Happens to the best of it. You can always follow up with the researcher if you want to see why they have rejected it.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

Data Task: 'screen capture' Google Search History. $1.80
Hosted by Measure Protocol Limited£1.298 minutes £9.65/hr 525 places remaining
I did that one a couple of weeks back. It said it would take 2-3 minutes, but actually took about 10, due to the time taken to install the screen capture app and having to repeat the task because it didn't work properly the first time. The task was to scroll through your search history on your phone and upload a screen capture video of you doing it. I don't think they could have got any useful info from mine, because I scrolled as fast as I possibly could ("super fast," as the instructions encouraged me to do), and the screen was blank most of the time as my phone couldn't keep up with the speed of scrolling. Anyway, I still got paid - it was £1.70 when I did it.(Thanks for the heads-up on the "About You" questions, btw, although I doubt any of my answers to the new ones are going to get me any more studies.)#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3660 -

loads seem to have a ton of attention checks these days there are also some which kick you straight off the survey if you get the attention check wrong which is fine in the first few minutes but really annoying 20 or 30 minutes in.
The guide for reasearcher on prolific states
What if they only fail one attention check?
A single failed attention check can only be used as a basis for rejection if your study is very short (e.g. under 5 mins).
If the survey you were rejected for was longer I would contact the researcher and explain that you feel the rejection was unfair
