LW.. I have Randy and Mojo Crow building a nest in the half dead apple tree next door... and Mr and Mrs Blackbird are merrily twig collecting too.. building their room!

The other alternative to a daily thread is if the whole week goes up on a Sunday.. but it also means we can post loads more.. it is possible to quote your own post and edit that and have it as a new post... that should still work.. I will try it.. in 120 flipping looooooooong seconds!

    EDITY EDITY EDIT..

aaannnddd add a bit so it counts as a new post...

H2H went South. Note to self: I still have eleven months in which to complete H2H Part 1.

That sums up my week. I'm sorry I haven't been contributing and I haven't been able to read Fred yet either, past Round Tuit's post. I had a bit of meltdown.

In the wake of that I've spent four hours flinging in my Room of Doom today and even got some stuff out of the attic to go, too. There's now a huge pile to be loaded in to the car for the tip, the scrap store and the CS. The stuff I want to keep in the RoD is now ready to be sorted out and I have enough clear surfaces to be able to dust. It's a start.

The hardest part was letting go of all of the ideas, dreams and good intentions I had for the stuff I was hanging on to. I have another 11 months to deal with the other ideas, dreams and good intentions all over the house and I have the feeling now that the biggest collection has been effectively binned, it won't be quite so hard.
    Better is good enough.

I didn't hoover through or do any gardening, but I killed a frog and DH took me out for a bite to eat.

See you all on the new thread.

  • Bah to not being able to edit, why did it need to be changed?

Quiet on here today, hope everyone is having a nice Sunday. Been to the shops with DH as he still has Christmas money to spend. Made a list for a few things from the "big shops" that are difficult to get locally. Spent absolutely nothing unnecessary which I am very pleased about.

Before we went out I put chilli in sc and made a veggie version for myself so we have just had that with jackets. Also did a little bit of baking and put last few things off the airer into the tumber.

Oooh just remembered there is a pile of laundry on our bed to put away, better go and sort that in a minute.

The whole day went very smoothly. DS1 helped with food prep (his work stuff), I did more washing and most things are ready for tomorrow.

There are a few jobs left to do tonight and I really need to get on with some marking once I've caught up with all things interweb.
