6lb down is a jolly good start I'd say :D Well done :T

It's about 8% of the total to go.. if that was my lotto winning odds I'd still not buy a ticket lol I have less chub rub on the thighs though, I have noticed that..and my tummy is less bloated which makes a big visible difference.

  • Himself woke me up with a coffee at 11am. He left at 11.45am, so I have plenty of time to think about doing something. Which is still unlikely. I might think about it some more when I'm forced to get up for the loo.

This editing is rubbish. I'm not even convinced it includes the actual time spent editing.

  • Yup. Considering I type at roughly warp factor 9, I don't have enough time to click edit, type a sentence and then save it.

    Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish.

And I have to wait 120 seconds between posts.

It will screw massively with posts which are regularly updated.. competitions board, MFW, DFW, pregnancy threads... it isn't just ours.. they can't keep it like this surely? it is unworkable.

ty ATB.. amazing the difference when you replace 2 sugars in your 20 cups of tea with sweetener! and stop eating the stuff that makes you ill.

I did the DW and played with laundry. OH bathed the girls and I'm knitting.. I want to get this cardy finished for Twinkle so I can declutter more stashed yarn.

Hello me again. I agree about the PIA editing and time between posting. Maybe we'll have to have a daily thread instead of weekly?

Anyway, I did the WUDUPA, then spent two hours in the gym while watching a DVD, had a bath, changed the bedding and have just had lunch. Need to take the dogs out next - they're wondering what's going on.
Spend less now, work less later.

In fact it's a real help to be able to read everyone's efforts and life challenges as it reminds me on a carpy cloud filled day that I'm doing the best I can with what I've got and that's ok!
And that's the beauty of Flylady. :o

Utterly ridiculous; I have arthritic hands and always, always have to edit my posts, often several times as I spot yet another stoopid typo. And I can't type quickly, so editing takes a while. :( I guess I shall have to try and read through my posts very carefully before hitting the submit button - but I reckon there'll still be some pretty surreal errors that get through! Gods, I hope common sense prevails over this.

Anyways, the plan is to have a MAD half hour on the Health file - all our past horse-piddle, optician, audiologist etc stuff is in there, plus a leaflet from the pack of each prescription medication we are on; and it's a bit of a mess at the moment.

On checking the paperwork, Mr LW's first appt is at 09:45 tomorrow, not 09:00, so that's a wee bit of breathing space.

I've also decluttered some hard skin off Mr LW's feet (sorry if TMI); my battery-operated wuzzy foot file thingy gets used more on his feet that it does on mine.:D I've told him he could, at his age, get free chiropody service, but he says he prefers me to do it for him.

Bird feeder has been replenished too; Walter Pigeon has learnt that if he flies at the smaller feeder and hits it, it will drop seeds on the ground for him and Mrs Walter to eat. Although after their shenenigans on the fence yesterday, they have been told sternly to Get. A. Room. :D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Well done Piggers.:T

Yesterday the big bag of stuff that I had designated for my DSis left the house. Who would have known that she had lost a lot of their photos to water damage when they moved house, so she was chuffed to have all the photos of her children that I was flinging her way :T. Win win.

Today DH is out, so far I have been on a 5 mile walk with a friend in the name of Slinky, done wm x1 and HHI, sorted out the fridge and concoted some sort of a vague meal plan. I am going to spend an hour or so going through all the packets of seeds that have been shoved in a box in the shed since last year to see if I need any more this year (probably not) and to see what delights we are going to try to grow to eat this year. That seems like a miserable wet afternoon sort of job, so just right for today.

Roast chicken to cook for later, and I might make a cake. I have resisted baking since the beginning of the year, but today might be the day I give in.

LW.. I have Randy and Mojo Crow building a nest in the half dead apple tree next door... and Mr and Mrs Blackbird are merrily twig collecting too.. building their room!

The other alternative to a daily thread is if the whole week goes up on a Sunday.. but it also means we can post loads more.. it is possible to quote your own post and edit that and have it as a new post... that should still work.. I will try it.. in 120 flipping looooooooong seconds!
