I booked two flights for £1 each way from Nottingham to Dublin with the £1 offer before it closed last night.
I was then charged £20 for one piece of luggage and then when I came to pay for it with a Visa Debit card I was charged another £20 !!!!
What a con !!!!!

If you read #2, #3, #38, and #39 - you'll find that you HAVEN'T been conned.
PBS - I was right, your great list wouldn't stop all those post that start:
Ryanair ripped me off
Ryanair conned me
I'm a victim of a scam by Ryanair0 -
You were right indeed...at least it means that we'll continue having new material provided for our list (it's not my list, you and others have contributed just as much!)

Maybe we could start a scoreboard - see how many 'scams' are mentioned that aren't actually scams at all? Winner gets a free flight on Ryanair or something...
From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -
The answer is simple. If you are not happy with Ryanair's credit card charges - then DO NOT FLY WITH RYANAIR.
Try and fly from Belfast to Liverpool for £2.00 return including ALL charges. Use a Visa Electron card. The choice is yours. Use a differnt airline and stop moaning.
GOOD OLD RYANAIR - Well done Ryanair and a big thank you for so VERY cheap flights.
PS Heading off to Liverpool from Dublin next week for 2 Euros return ALL IN ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !0 -
I've just booked a return flight for two to Dublin for £4 so there are still bargain flights even though it says the £1 sale has ended!0

£1 each way return Bristol to Prague in July.
Total price on my card £2.
Very happy. And it can be done!0 -
I have just booked for my wife and myself and 2 friends to fly to Montpellier in July ( during school holidays) for a grand total of £8, £1 each way. Taxes are included as is online check-in.We are only going for three days so shall only take hand baggage. Our daughter had a Visa Electron card so we avoided the card charge as well.Unfortunately we can not avoid the extortionate airport car parking charges - £27 for 3 days! Still a bargain- and would have been better if my wife had not insisted on a 4 star hotel when we get there.0

Just booked two return flights Glasgow Prestwick to Paris (Beauvais) leaving 12th December returning 15th December, total price £26.80 ( booked on line, will check in on line, hand luggage, no insurance, paid by Visa Electron) Well pleased!!!!
Now can anyone help me with a cheapie hotel anywhere near Port Maillot to save us travelling too far from bus drop off and pick up point?0 -
Our daughter had a Visa Electron card so we avoided the card charge as well.
We are trying to book a wknd in Dublin with flights under £10 each BUT they want £10 per person card fee!! DISGUSTING RIP-OFF. despite frantic efforts, no such joy finding anyone with an electron! apparantly you cannot even get them with new accounts anymore.
Odd how Ryanair are even charging their own card customers this fee too!0 -
Sign up for Entropay and use that, 50p to transfer £10 into the account from your debit card.
