Surely you'd pay the online check in fee up front when you make the initial booking (as you do now with airport check in fees) even if the actual check in won't be till months in advance, and therefore only pay the card fees once. Personally I'd think the situation your're describing would be a step too far - charging the card fees twice on advanced bookings.
I am in the same situation. I wnat to book my tickets for August before May2nd when they start charging for online check in. I thought the same. Will they then charge me to check in when I actually print off the boarding passes? With 3 of us presumably that will be £30 extra as I suppose they will charge £5 per person per journey.

I just got to the pay section of my booking for 5 flights to France and found that they charge £5 per passenger each way for anything other than Visa Electron - I read somewhere on this site that this doesn't include children but it does, as 3 of the passengers are children and the charge came up as £50 - no way am I paying that.

I wouldn't pay that either, unless it was still cheaper than everyone else.

Best bet is to get an electron, it's all very easy, andI believe there is another option where you can apply online for a 'top up' type card, and use it immediately with no Ryanair fees.

Can someone help, I tried to book flights and it came to £12, my internet connection went down and when I tried an hour later it came up to £32, is it possible that the price can change during the day i.e. should I try later or tomorrow?

The prices can change at any time. Unfortunately it's impossible to tell if a certain flight will go up or down in price. You could wait, and it could go down again, or it could shoot up in price. If you are booking to fly soon, I would book now as flights can get very expensive nearer the departure date.

Use a Visa Electron card, check in online and don't take any extras such as hold luggage and priority booking.

It's likely that Flightchecker is wrong.

Turn up in plenty of time as the baggage drop may be a more lengthy process than you would expect.
