Why not downgrade to the Everyday account? No fees and you still get access to the 5% RS for its remaining term which will revert to 3% when you next renew.

Obviously move balance somewhere else too!

That's dead easy to do, if you have a passport or driving licence.

Not so easy if you have intricate hiding places for your ID in case of burglary etc.

It finally arrived at 14:00! Still 2.25%. Maturity date is 20 April 2019.

Don't all rush - the website is already slowing down at 14:12. I completed two applications and by the time I finished the second, each page change was grindingly slow.

I've just received the maturity paperwork for my Nottingham BS Starter ISA Issue 7. The pack includes details for the new Starter ISA Issue 8 account for the 2018/19 tax year.

The details appear unchanged from Issue 7 - an initial deposit of up to £2400 in April followed by monthly contributions of up to £1600. Sadly the interest rate is also unchanged from 2.25% (variable).

For anyone not using their ISA allowance on anything better, this account might offer another convenient regular savings account. I've not decided whether to open one myself though, I'll wait until Ford decide what to do with all their maturing 4% accounts.
