Pretty sure I've had both accounts opened at the same time before but can anyone confirm I can have a Halifax 2% Regular and a Bank of Scotland 2% regular open at the same time?
    Thanks.

They blocked my application last time but, like you, I think I got away with it in the  past.

Correction - after I opened it and paid in the £250 they closed it locking the money from online access. They said I have to take passport to a branch to get it out. So that's the risk if they decide to take issue. I'm still paying into the Halifax one.

There is nothing in the terms to say you cannot have both.  I've had both at the same time recently.
They are quite different products (not only in name, but one allows part withdrawals, the other doesn't).

And me. I am into my second pair of them now. Never had any issue so far.

New Yorkshire Building Society regular saver:  Monthly Regular Saver: Issue 3 - 2.10% up to £300.00 per month.

I have their previous 2.50% regular saver and, unless I've missed something, it looks like you can hold both at the same time.

Yes, I have both those accounts currently (plus ClubLloyds and Lloyds regular savers)
  • I've got two Halifax RS's going along with one B of S RS. Yes, I know I should only have one Halifax but their system allows 2. If they close one and only pay me minimal, or no, interest, so be it. If they close both, again so be it.
