    It is patronising. She’s an experienced member of the forum, she knew what she was posting, helping those that might not know (the whole purpose of the forum). You should not dictate what information she chooses to pass on.

    It'll be interesting to hear from anyone who tries this out and gets clobbered by the Santander statement/warning:
    "If you don’t fund the account from your Santander current account or if you deposit more than £200 in any month, Santander reserve the right to change your account into an Everyday Saver."

    Pretty sure I've had both accounts opened at the same time before but can anyone confirm I can have a Halifax 2% Regular and a Bank of Scotland 2% regular open at the same time?
