Monmouthshire want a cheque sending through - I no longer have an account with a chequebook. I thought I would save the planet when we last switched so didn't appply for one. Will your bank print you a one-off cheque if you pop into a branch? Nationwide did this for me a few months ago for my FlexAccount.Monmouthshire want a cheque sending through - I no longer have an account with a chequebook. It's not that you don't have an account with a chequebook, it's that you didn't ask for one. All current accounts can have a chequebook supplied if you ask for one.
Or, if you have any accounts with a Building Society, including Nationwide, they can issue one drawn on your account over the counter.0 -

Oh well. I'd have stopped funding my Nottingham Building Society Sunshine Regular Saver, which is 2.3% but has a term of 17 months of which I have 7 left, and opened this one instead.0

I think a tiny minority only have one account which is app or online based only with no accounts elsewhere. Tesco Bank and First Direct offer them.0 -
