I still had to bring my identification which they photocopied and gave me back. They ask me for it every time!

I would love to be 'phoned by my branch in advance, but equally I would want them to check my I.D. everytime. Where money is concerned there should be no short-cuts taken re: verification of identity.Free thinker.:cool:0 -
On opening my Virgin regular saver issue 15 today I was told that they had been instructed by the Commercial Department to inform people that they were considering restricting the number of regular savings issues that could be held simultaneously at some time in the future. Make of that what you will, although this was from the Branch Manager.0

I was told when I opened the 3% one that I could only have one RS at a timeSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

But we could guess that the Clydesdale/Virgin merger may at some point in the future restrict the regular saver availability.
It only becomes a problem when/if it happens though."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -

Do you currently hold other RSAs with Virgin Money from previous issues??
If so why did they let you open it to day ??
This was my first saver with Virgin, the paperwork was at home but my impression was that it was one per person at any one timeSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
