Hasn't it become clear with all the reports back and chat about this issue that proceeds won't be in our account before Monday. It's weekend anyway when a lot of financial things go to sleep!0

True, but my letter does say it would happen on maturity day (and has 01/02/19 printed there) except if that falls on a weekend or bank holiday, in which case the next working day.
Any point in making a complaint?0 -

Any point in making a complaint?Your funds will be in the account requested by 5pm on the next working day.0 -

But that's not what the eye-catching front of page information box says...0 -

I'm wondering if there is any limit to the number of regular savers accounts I can have - for instance one with Halifax, one with Bank of Scotland, one with Virgin - all running at the same time? I hadn't thought of it before and can't find the answer yet. Thanks for any help.
Only limits are your funds and limitations of the banks e.g. can have a Santander regular saver so long as you have the account with them but you couldn't also have a First Direct one unless you also had a FD account.
I have Leeds BS, Virgin, Santander and going to get one with Nottingham BS but that's essentially going to be recycling my last Leeds BS regular saver cash and I would probably end up using all my spare cash on funding accounts if I had another one!Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Hi Folks,
I have updated the entry on the Tipton and Coseley account with the new maturity date.

For those of you with these products and with February SOs that have already left don't forget to cancel these SOs!0

Matures midnight Feb 28th, funds available on March 1st but only by cheque. Which means a visit (fortunately March 1st is a Friday) or the post.
(CS today in a phone call).
Now to find a local bank/BS branch that does faster cheque clearance and where I have an account.0 -
RE Virgin Regular online E-Savers, I've noticed that online banking has been constantly closed the last month or so, including at odd hours even on the weekdays.....makes me think they are trying to fix all the bugs so that they can release new issues....0
