Always important too when maturity day is a Friday. Hence my battling bravely through snowdrifts.

The paperwork they sent me said something about the working day after maturity (i.e. Monday). Had the same with the last Leeds Regular Saver that matured.

I went into branch yesterday hoping to open the new Nottingham Special Saver RS branch only account, but they said I would need to make an appointment. Surprised, as I have opened my previous RS with them at the counter without any delay. Anyway at least they adjusted their calendar to fit me in at a time convenient to me, so I can drop by en route for another appointment elsewhere instead of a special journey. I asked how long it would take and she said they allow up to an hour, so it looks like I am in for the hard sell of their other products( which I don’t need ).
