You need to go in tonight once the interest has been added, usually after 8 or 9, and transfer it out. If you leave it until tomorrow you risk the chance of no double bubble (unless they have fixed it of course, but we have been saying that for the past year or so)

I emailed them to ask why and they said it was due to the 4.5% and 5% glitch.

So I suggested they open a 1.25% online reg saver so that we can get 2.5% instead. :D

(Above did not happen but if you're reading VM then please do consider my idea).

Name? Whatever you like until the new rules come in.. but:
    Sort code 20-18-23
    A/C number 90653535
Then your 10 figure PBS account number as the reference, otherwise they won't know who to credit it to.

PS I always recommend that you check the details on their web.. one day someone will make an error in transposing to a post...
I'm not sure what 'transposing to a post' means but my advice would be to take a screenshot of the new account numbers and double-check that those are the ones you use.

In soulsaver's case they mean transferring the sort code/account numbers from the bank's website to MSE (and potentially making a typo/error in the process).

I didn't realise solesaver was referring to his/herself although I should have worked that out from the dots at the end. I've really not been 'with it' recently, have I!

Karlie88, do I need to close the account or leave the account open with the minimum (£1)?

Just move everything out, there is an option to do that, do not specify an amount.

'Account closure' is your best friend. :)

Interest now showing uncleared on my Virgin e-Issue 8.

Tried to close and got "Unfortunately we cannot process this request, as the selected account has uncleared transactions. You can view these transactions within your statement."
