I’ve just phoned Leeds. They are withdrawing RS from tomorrow, but will email or post an application for RS 21 today, as it is the last day of existence for that product.

what I can say, with some certainty, is that it will be the nastiest day in February when it's released, well maybe not released but the day I bus and tram my way to Croydon for my appointment.

I really need to see if there's any parking nearby that's less than the approx 600 meters I have to walk between various bus and tram stops - I do not subscribe to Billy Connolly's theory that there is no such things as bad weather, just bad clothing. :rotfl:

Use the interest from your next maturing RS for the purchase of a set of oilskins!

    Sorted :)

    Thank you.

Presumably lots of us will be receiving emails tomorrow when our SO go out as that's the only vague reference I can see to any timeline.

My payment of £250 today (1st) is showing as an additional 250 balance with Leeds now, though won't clear until tomorrow. I have not received an email yet.

It looks like there will be a period when the money will automatically be redirected to the account with the new sort code so early Jan payments will still go through.

No doubt scammers will be busy asking people to change payment accounts so be aware everyone.

Has Leeds actually told its customers they need to make these changes? I don't remember reading anything. It says in the Q&As:

What happens if I make a payment without making the changes?
If we receive a payment from you that needs you to make changes, we’ll send an email or letter explaining what you need to do next. In some cases we’ll automatically redirect the payment for you, in others you may need to make the changes yourself.
In my case will the payment be automatically redirected? As until I just read this, I was unaware of the change.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
  • Is there a list on this thread of those regular savers which allow a 13th subscription? I know Santander Monthly Saver doesn't but what about Lloyds and NW Flexclusive?

    Yes to Lloyds and NW.

And BoS, TSB, Halifax etc. ;)

Maybe we should have a list. There's a third category e.g. Principality Building Society Regular Saver Bond issue 19 has a maximum allowable balance of 12 x monthly maximum subscription but no limit on the number of deposits.

My standing order was paid on the 1st January (joys of using a modern bank) to the old bank details. Credited as normal this morning. No email received.
