You can change SO details the day before the SO is executed.0 -

There is a new RSA from Tipton & Coseley Building Society: 2.00% fixed, max £500 pm, matures 31-Jan-2020, available to UK residents, postal applications accepted.
Before we reach for our chequebooks, let's be aware the stipulated ID requirements for postal applications appear unusually onerous. Plus there's no online access of any kind. Think I'll give it a miss unless I happen to be in the area any time soon.0 -

It is probably worth a punt as to begin with they don't require ID.
It is only required if electronic verification fails and everybody knows their track record on this?0 -
Out of interest, has anyone successfully opened a First Trust Bank current account as a UK resident living outside of Northern Ireland (without having to visit a branch)?
Their (linked) regular saver account seems to have received a recent increase from 2.5% to 2.75% (on up to £500 per month) so is quite appealing.
The 3 or 4 times I have phoned up over the last year or so, I tend to get slightly different responses, from an outright "not possible outside of NI", to "I am not sure, best to visit a branch", to "it might be possible, let me get a branch to call you back" (which never happened).0 -
When you click on the link to access the application form for this Tipton & Coseley Regular saver the 2 year fixed rate saver appears on the title of the application form!"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
