I also do Usborne and have been doing for 3 years. You have to have an awful lot of self motivation as work and opportunities won't just come to you. It is fun (as said) and the products are great - if you have children, they are worth having, but it is not quick and easy.
It also depends on who you have above you as to how much support you get.
I love the product, but I wouldn't call it easy. One of the best benefiits is the discounted books for my children!0 -
It appears that i have had my post removed even though i was not advertising at all!! Could someone please enlighten me??!! I only offered to give extra info to anyone i was not looking to promote out or anything like that!
you requested people to email you for more information. that is advertising.
IF you would like to repost the useful information, it would help others readiang the thread.0 -
I've recently started stringfellows, its a new company (about year and half old) there selling thereselves as a classier ann summers. I always thoughted about doing party plan but couldnt bring myself to do ann summers as was so rude, with stringfellows you can do totally clean parties or as rude as people want!!!
the Pay is good, obviously as with other companies all raffle money is yours to keep, and they help by selling you products for raflle at highly reduced rate called agents incentive bags, also you get 25% on anything you sell, as soon as you hit £500 sales (i done it in 1st month) you got 30% then if you sell £1500 (might be £1000) you get 35% on everything.
The kits cost £140 i joined when it was totally free for doing certain sales, but once youv earned £400 the kits yours to keep. Also in reading some other articles they say about hoarding stuff at your own house stringfellows is stricty an order on demand company, obviously you can order more for your kit, and delivery is within one week straight to who you done party for so you dont even need to go doing deliveries.
We have monthly meetings where we learn about current promotions and get our rewards, my 1st month i earned myself a watch!!! this month you can earn loads just from gtting sales.
Although they are a party plan company they encourage new ways of marketing and sales, only thing they dont allow is selling on ebay, but you dont earn as much on that so wouldnt want to do that anyway.
(sorry to go on but i really enjoy this)0 -
the only drawback to most of them I have found is that you have to pay them to get started , so make sure you don't already have a good agent already in your area and that you have a few people lined up to host parties before you pay any money.
You're right, The Body Shop At Home usually charge £95 for their kit which is £500 worth of products and tools.
I'm a new consultant and have just been told that anyone who signs up before November 16th will get the kit for £25!! :T
Plus with Body Shop you're only committed to 6 parties, then if you decide to quit you can with no charges or penalties PLUS you get to keep the kit!!
Anyone interested?0 -
sara1980, I have recently started doing Phoenix - have been going about two months and finding it great.
I did post some information here but have removed it as Phoenix ask us not to discuss their business online as it can be misleading if people only get part of the picture rather than the full set of information. And I don't think I can point you in the direction of more information as I don't want to tread on any MSE toes.

I have worked in party plan for over 5 years now and have built up a successful business and it is great money, the earning potential is unlimited but its not easy work. You have to work hard and be incredibly self motivated. I have had a lot of new consultants over the years who have joined my team think its easy money, then never lasted long.
Its hard when you don't have a boss over your shoulder chiving you on lol
However if you are self motivated and spare time and like people you should give it a go. There are lots of different party plan businesses out there your sure to find one that suits your interests.:rotfl: l love this site!! :rotfl:0 -
why are you advertising SPAM ?
Are you receiving a commission as a marketing agent ?0 -
I am a Virgin Vie consultant and have been doing it since September, I have found that it does have a really great earning potential but you have to be prepared to work hard at it. You also have to have a real passion for what you are selling otherwise it will come across to the guests of the party.
I currently work full time so find it difficult to put too muchinto my business but even still i am earning enough!!!
If anyone wants any more info etc i will be happy to post more x0
