OK so I've just gone to get ready for shopping and there's already money missing from my purse so I confronted my sister and she's erupted in a fit of rage. She's brought lots up from the past including why she had an affair with my husband and why she's always been jealous of me for being my parents favourite. Do you think it's just the drugs talking or could I be to blame for her problems?
So what reason did she give you for having an affair with your husband?

What sort of drugs are you claiming they are taking?

Probably addicted to smarties whilst fathering 10 offspring around the town and smuggling fags over from Europe at the weekend to sell at the market stall and get the washing done by Dot and go and see Phil & Peggy at the pub.

Well this should make my snow day more interesting.

I don't believe the OP is female actually :)
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)

OK, so I confronted both my husband and sister last night and got the truth (as far as I can make out). He was very tight-lipped at first but she told him to confess or she would so they both told me that they'd been having an affair for pretty much the last year and worse, my husband has been starting taking drugs as well. I broke down there and then, saying that I could no longer live with that level of deceipt in my life so I said I wished them both to leave which they did. I half suspect that they've gone to my sister's house and that the little charade she played out on my doorstep the other night was just a sham so she could carry on seeing my husband under my own roof. So thankyou to all those who are doubting my story, I hope you're happy now?

What to live with the violent boyfriend?

and, which magazine are you writing for please so I can read the full story there when it's printed?

    I'm confused.
Why would those people who are doubting your story be happy about yet another update that they don't believe?

Erm, I think she's been sarcastic?

And therein lies the problem with on-line fora such as this.

You don't know if I really thought the OP's comment was sincere and only realised she was being sarcastic when you pointed it out.
Or if I was being disingenuous.
Or if I was even being sarcastic myself.

Or you may be wrong and the OP wasn't being sarcastic at all. ;)

Any further developments on this, OP? You've gone quiet!
