    Fiscal Fast Day 196

More wedding spends with a visit to the hairdresser for myself, DD2 and DD3, eek it's getting close now :D

Also a visit to Bookers where ALL of our shop was RTC, a few bit and bobs in Pool Market and finally a quick shop at Tescos.

All in all a good day in terms of spending

    P.S.

Nag time....PWD...have you been to Bookers yet? (nag, nag, naggerty nag!) :rotfl:

  • Ha - no, Ive had an email reminding me that I need to go and produce my ID or I'll have to start again. I don't want to drive over specially so I'm waiting till I have an appointment over that way, I'm sure it won't be long. Thanks for nagging though, I really need to get on and do it!

TM6 I loved that blue outfit but not the price I have bookmarked it in the hope it may come down in price as I have my youngest DGD getting married in 2020. The venue is quite 'posh' as well but I am hoping to spend around £150 all in for my outfit When my DGS got married in 2016 I think I paid about £80.00 but it wasn't quite such an upmarket 'do' Although we all had a great time and as it was Christmas Eve we celebrated it as well.

I certainly wouldn't spend that sort of cash no matter how nice it was :):):)

    Fiscal Fast Day 197

A wedding spend day and a cheeky little spend at a local charity shop of just a £1

The wedding spend was on 4 packets of confetti :D

I did my one and only food shop today in Sainsburys and was pleased as I must just have got there at the right time, and got lots of reduced stuff and enough for 8-9 dinners.

I am away on holiday from the 17th so just needed enough fresh stuff to cover the next two weeks. I am out for 5 of the coming 14 days in the evening so its just worked out perfectly, brilliant and no more food to buy until I come home at the end of August Spent the grand sum of £22.46 :):):) No more food shopping, I am really pleased as I hate shopping at the best of times and this weather its horribly hot and sticky in the shops.

One happy old lady tonight :):):)

Floss, what an absolutely fabulous offer but to be honest, I don't have a clue!

I'm a certified tomboy with no fashion sense but my DD2 will sort me out (I have no doubt!) :D

Yes, it is a beautiful outfit but at a ridiculous price  especially when you are on a fast and generally trying to live frugally.

I am SO pleased with what I have bought so there are lovely outfits out there at a sensible price...it's just finding them :D

It funny how you start off a fast believing it was about cutting back and although we have certainly done that it has also been about generating more income. Going to car boot sales and the like had always been a hobby and we had always bought to re sell as it stopped me from just buying because items were a bargain!:rotfl:

Going to the car boot sales has greatly increased - as our income from ebay has snowballed it has given us the money and incentive to up the anti and consider actually having it as a second business...time will tell but we are loving every minute of it.

So with this in mind we visited another car boot sale today - they usually hold them on a Sunday but they are also holding them for the next four Tuesdays. It is a good income generator for the rugby club where they are held especially as the holiday makers are down.

It was a much quieter cbs than usual but we picked up some brilliant packs of Lego at a very reasonable price so we were well chuffed.

A visit to Boots on the way bought me some sun cream on advantage points so another smiley face :D

In the afternoon we visited a plot of land that is up for sale - Helagon Weeth. This eventually is the sort of land that we would like to own and run as a smallholding along with the ebay side.

    What do you think?
