TM6 if your in the cooling off period for green flag, you might want to look into their set up first, there might be good on price but its not on service especially in rural areas as they are not like RAC/AA with there own crew but outsource to local garages and recovery services so you could be waiting a long time if they are busy, and its possibility the garage you get is not one that you'd be happy using, if you get my drift
Thanks tori.k  - we will definitely look into this"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Fiscal Fast Day 193
Another LSD of £4.95, not TOO bad seeing as it was a visit to Mousehole for a swim and a catch up with long standing friends

I lie!!! It was an unnecessary spend on a tea towel :rotfl:
It was shouting buy me, buy me and I love tea towels that bring back special memories.
Did I NEED it? ........ No
Did I want it?...........Yes
Do I feel guilty?........NO!"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Fiscal Fast Day 194
:j It is a MILESTONE day today....two weeks today and DS1 gets married...I'm SO excited :j
We are on our way to Plymouth to buy an outfit for me and last minute bits and bobs for our time away. I have a style in mind but the outfit I REALLY wanted and had the savings for I could not justify the cost, no matter how hard I tried
This is the outfit

A price tag of just over £600
Wish me luck today :rotfl: I am a certified shopaholic but not when it comes to clothes shopping - I am a plus size and finding clothes I like is a nightmare"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -

Fiscal Fast Day 195
Well as you would expect, today was a MASSIVE spending day as we were buying my wedding outfit.
As a rural location, the nearest shopping centre / mall is in Plymouth, Devon (not even in Cornwall) an hour and a half journey away.
We set off at 7.30am and arrived home at 7pm and had a full on day of shopping, shopping and....more shopping :rotfl:
I still had my frugal head on (we choose a £5 all day parking multi storey rather than the nearest to the shopping centre!)
I left worrying if I would find something that would suit me or in fact if I would find ANYTHING at all but I came away with multiple outfits to cover my DS1 and DD1 weddings as well as my Mum's 80th birthday celebrations. All that stress for nothing!!!
Better still, the outfit is more than I could have asked for. In total I spent about £150 for 3 tops, a pair of trousers and a jacket - I am well made up
We had a lovely family day with DD2 and DD3 eating out and treating ourselves at Tiger, one of my favourite shops but we didn't go made.
The icing on the cake was coming home to sold listings on ebay which will trade off againgst our spends :j
A VERY major day in terms of preparation for what is going to be an awesome day"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
It's obviously the right outfit for you
Do you need to find accessories now?

To keep the cost down, I'm either going to use what I have or I am going to beg, steal or borrow"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
Love that shirt, well done - I like the navy outfit you linked to above, but not at that price! I'm sure you'll look great and feel comfortable in it.Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.0

I think that was the key PWD - I had to feel comfortable in it
Not only that but I felt a million dollars which for a middle aged self confessed tomboy is wonderful:D:D
