Untaxed vehicle parked illegally

I guess it could always 'acquire' flat tyres.

Didn't the OP already say that they'd reported the vehicle to the DVLA?0

I believe the identification (ANPR) and recovery of untaxed vehicles is usually performed on behalf of the DVLA by local agents. Presumably the agents are paid on a commission basis. If you could find out who the local company are I am sure they would act on a "heads up"0

We've got to the stupid suggestion point in this thread.
We've already had slash the tyres, I'm now waiting for putting it on dollies and pushing it along the road so that it becomes somebody else's problem. Or other criminal acts0 -

Why didn't I think of that before

Actually, pushing it out in to the road making it an abandoned car causing an obstruction would get it moved!
You don't have to damage it by moving it. Obviously it depends how big this car is...Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -

I wouldnt mind as long as everyone was playing by the rules and it’s clear it doesn’t apply to some folk.
Other than what I’ve mentioned is there no action the local authority could take? I mean - one of their tenants has illegally parked on their road. Surely they have some element of responsibility!
Why on earth would a landlord because responsible for a tenant paying VED?0 -

I called DVLA to ask about the process and they said they would write to the registered address of the car but if the owners had not notified DVLA of a change of address (it's unlikely the owners have done this) there was effectively nothing they could do.
What about all the latest ads I kept hearing "tax it or lose it".
