Thanks Wednesday, I'm laughing now but it wasn't so funny at the time. Never mind I have nice clean & tidy pot cupboards.

Garden tidying went OK, cleared weeds out of some large pots, now I can see the daffs coming through, let's hope cat's can't see the nice soft poo enticing soil:mad:
Made a start on pruning buddlia but stopped early before back started up. To be continued another day

Lunch was cheese + salady sarnie as planned
Dinner veg prepped, only needs cooking now. As per normal CFO, I've made more for LO use another day

Made mistake of watching Daily Politics, they may as well just have a couple of parrots on there, goodness knows how Andrew Neil refrains from just lamping them:(

Faraway As a fellow lurker have you noticed that the Brexit thread has suddenly gone very quiet? Maybe MSE has banned everyone on there for arguing and not just our Money

I noticed that, maybe you're right, not checked but perhaps comments closed? Or most have had heart attacks with rage & frustration and are laid up;)

Caron, had to smile at image of you stuck in a cupboard, but when you mentioned pan stuck at back my first thought was you joining Brambling & me in manky pan spy style swap

I've had a bit of a :eek::eek::o:o:o moment, I decided to clean out my pot and pans cupboard one of which is corner cupboard as they had got very jumbled over Christmas.
It's a bit of a stretch to get to the back of the corner cupboard and I need to get low down and angle myself into the space. With the help of a footstool and my trusty zimmer I got down and angled just fine and had a good clean. Then couldn't get myself balanced enough to get back out and couldn't reach anything to steady me. After a bit of a panic I managed to drop myself onto the floor after which it was relatively straightforward to get on my feet. Did for a few moments think I was going to have to phone for help which would have been :o:o:o as who ever came would have been greeted with my stuck in the air backside:eek:. Shan't be cleaning that cupboard again for a while:rotfl::rotfl:
Oh no Caron!! Glad you're ok. I fell over in the living room during the 'Beast from the East' last year - I slipped on melted snow from my boots on the living room wooden floor - and ended up with a broken leg and 2 chipped kneecaps. It took me 15 mins to get up off the floor and I don't have any mobility problems. It's scary living alone sometimes.

I've virtually stopped listening to the news as I'm so fed up of the same subjects all the time, it's annoying.

I thought of you and Brambling and your pan swap too :D:D

Revision put away for the day now and I'm curled up with my blanket. I'm freezing even though the heating is on full. In other exciting news I've put the normal wheelie bin out for its 3 weekly collection haha.

    Good evening everyone,
:eek:SG that was a sore one. At I was taught at physio how to fall IFYSWIM though best to avoid if you can :). I always have my mobile on me so know I can seek help if needed, reckon it's better for me than one of the "Alert" systems which are only fine if you are within a certain radius of the receiver. I'd be out of range when I went to the bottom of the garden which wouldn't be ideal.

:rotfl::rotfl:Farway re joining the clandestine manky pot swap, I've never been asked to make up a threesome before:eek:, I must have lived a sheltered life;), though it might be a bit chilly in the Cathedral gardens at this time of year:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:. I'll have you know (at present) I have no manky pots or manky pot cupboards so will have to decline.

Thankfully the afternoon was drama and :o:o free:D and I didn't do much except sort out some laundry. Skewers just needing popping in the oven to heat up and the pitta toasting. CBA making tzakziki will just have some greek yoghurt with it.

I'm shocked where your mind went to Caronc  :D. Glad to see no lasting effects from your cupboard excitement :)

Farway you can stop looking for a bigger bench now :rotfl::rotfl:

SunnyGirl i have a couple of years on you so I know how difficult it can be find a new job after 50 I was lucky that the two people Interviewing me were a couple of years older and that the town I work in has an employment problem rather than an unemployment one, it's also very expensive to live in which puts people off from relocating, that's not to say I'm not good at my job :rotfl:. I would like to work nearer to home but it's only a 25 mile round trip and needs must

Annoyingly my land line phones seem to have died I'm assuming as they are linked if one dies so will the other? I have found a old corded one I was going to bin this week and that is working ok so not the line, the mobile signals are so bad at home I need them  shopping tomorrow

Lunch was not as expected I forgot to take in my soup today, (not for the first time :o) with a 1pm meeting which lasted all afternoon I had the crackers which I had remembered and some fruit and raided the biscuit tin :naughty:

Dinner was the LO jerk chicken and dirty rice, the last two portions went in the freezer.

Good news is my sore throat hasn't gotten any worst so could have lemon slices for my G&T on Friday :D

Good morning! It must be cold as the heating switched on!
Off to work shortly, another full day ,it's been so busy and I'm shattered , not sleeping well, just having toast , and I've put an egg on to boil to take for lunch, on a sandwich. With Greek yogurt with ginger, with apricots chopped in.
Not decided re tea, but it will be simple, either fish fingers or jacket spud beans snd cheese. :o

  • I had wholemeal toast with vegan cream cheese and a cup of green tea. I had to get up early today as my kombucha is being delivered.

I stopped listening or reading the news a couple of months ago and haven't missed it at all. It always seems to be about Brexit whenever I accidentally catch something.:rotfl:
