Now you've got some freezer space PN you could get an "emergency" pack of sausage rolls stashed. Handy if you get a notion and cba going out or the weather is foul;):)
The s/rolls have a long shelf life usually, a week or more if you get the right batch, so I'll get those on Sunday/Monday and they'll be fine.
Will need freezer space for god knows what .... bound to be something important that crops upe.g. I might make the roasties too early - I will make them early, but can only make them when I fancy it ... if I fancied it on Sunday then they'd be OK in the fridge.... but if I suddenly fancy making them on Thursday or Friday then I might freeze them.... can never tell until that moment of "CAN BA" hits me randomly
Tesco .... cheap caulisIt wouldn't take long though to knock up a tiny one from raw on the day, but it's the faffery ... so I'd make it ahead and just reheat on the day.
favourite deodorant is on SO and as it's quite pricey otherwise I always stock up if it's a good price. Itends to go on SO every 6 months so I try to get enough to last me.
I grab 50-60p roll ons ... although when I looked in 4ldi a week ago to get 2-3 there weren't any. I hope they've not discontinued them.... I'll also have to check L1dl's shelves.
I don't need anything fancy ... just a cheap RO one will do.0 -

The rain hammering down over Farway this morning reached us about 4pm
it's quieten down now so I'm hoping for a dry day tomorrow
Another day spent pottering and doing anything to avoid Christmas card writing and wrapping presents to take tomorrow, anyone fancy a quick job :rotfl:
I'll just took out the smoke alarm battery at least it chose now to bleep and not the early hours of the morning. I need to replace the battery tomorrow my neighbour has taken over the cooking and their smoke alarm is regularly going off, not sure what he was doing 10.00 last night but it took so long to stop I nearly got the cat basket out in preparation. The disadvantage of being mid terrace with older neighbours both sides
CBA with lunch today so picked some fruit, crisps, crackers etc. Dinner was cold chicken, HM chips and LO green vegLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
LOL your smoke alarm must be on "summer time" mine always wants to beep for a new battery once I'm in my PJs:eek:
My hall lightbulbhas decided it's on the way out- no dramatic "ping" but just gently fading away much like an elderly dowager:cool:. Hope it lasts until my son arrives on Wednesday:)0 -

It usually does bleep in the middle of the night  Hopefully the light will last Caronc if not I see a job for your nephew
:j:j Christmas cards all done, where possible I put smaller cards for nieces and nephews and their families inside larger cards for my siblings :money: my eldest sister's birthday card includes their Christmas cards their 3 kids & their families cards as well. It's not the cards it's the stamps which cost so much

You know you've a sad life when that just got added to the "Xmas Food List"But it's there, in case I go in for a cauli
I've been 'stressing' since late last night about the stew. You see, the thing is .... I've a fear of many many things electrical ... and I have NEVER left the house and left the SC on....
But, I have a "weather window" (weather's due to become dire in the next 2-4 days), so I did want to go out all the way to B&M to get some pretty little glasses (I have no glasses, these glasses are of no use to me, but, I've been captivated by them and 'need' to see them to see if I do want to buy them).... so I'm kicking myself that I have spotted them ... and I should go to see them today else I may never ever see/buy them. They might be utter rubbish when I get there
BUT .... if I start the stew I'll have to leave it. For two hours this morning, 6-8, I was indecisive, thinking about my journey times and stew cooking times..... and at 8am I finally bit the bullet and am taking a risk.
Stew's on and when it's bubbling I'll turn it down ... and, hopefully, at some point, I'll have worked up enough bravery to leave it on and leave the houseIt's a 30 mile round trip, plus other places en route as I wend my way back ... Home Bargains, The Range, Dunelm .... little list of things in hand. It's not a big list ... but it's a list that does need to be attempted.

The reason batteries beep in the middle of the night, or go late in the evening, when it's dark .... instead of conveniently at 10am when you've time to deal with it ... is because when they get close to the end of their life they beep when the temperature drops. As the temperature drops overnight, that's what gets them beeping.
Mine's a sod. It's hard wired, so you can't just take the battery out... it still beeps. I had mine replaced about a month ago, had to get/pay a little man to do it as it's quite nerve wracking, for me, to be up a ladder, knowing I'm touching something that's hard-wired into the mains ....0 -
For the record... glasses... SHINY!

A quick clock in before I'm out on the tea hunt in Winchester, nice & sunny at the moment, hope it stays that way, and for brambling who is in the opposite direction also mooching around a cathedral city
Had my porridge and ready for anything now, toying with idea of buying ice cream in Sainsbobs while I'm there, not sure if it would be thawing by time i go home though, I'll wait & see, could buy it at local one next time I'm in town of course
Has to be Sainsbobs because limited distribution and is very ethical + local, and comes highly recommended buy DGS who is a connoisseur in these matters

Quick one for Brambling- if in m and s look at the £15 jeggings they are done in different colours and wash well don't go baggy on knee . I've got loads they are elastic at waist and stretchy mix between legging and jean.useful if fluctuating between sizes.Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0
