    ^ Lol, how cute!

I just had some cereal and a sliced banana on top for my breakfast before my class today. I forgot to have the soup so that will be dinner today. I am buying some bread as well.

Dull, drizzle again, but sun is expected later.

Brambling My sister and I drove the short distance to Beaulieu village yesterday for a wander around the garden centre and a cuppa and cake, I forgot how much a pain the ponies and donkeys can be in the forest 🙂

Snap, I've been it the cafe etc, DD was there on Sunday, and stuck behind a Pony Jam on way home. They just don't move over do they? And some think kipping in the middle of the road is just fine thank you. The pigs taste nice though 😁

I think my flu jab is catching up, mildly aching sinuses & random sneezing, plus a bit of extra lethargy. Nothing bad, just irritating

I keep looking for early booking of Asda Christmas slots, supped to be today for us with passes, no signs yet. I do have the Waitrose slot booked, but belt & braces.

Lunch, I have urge for a crisp sandwich, so that's what it is

Dinner, TBD, could be pizza because I've a few in the freezer and a bit more space would help

    Good morning everyone,

Gorgeous pup Brambling, he might be more poodley after his first groom.

My apologies JKS I hadn't twigged that the sweet potato stew you make was the same one I linked. It was very good so will definitely make again. I did add 3/4 of a tsp of cayenne as well as the paprika and would use less stock as it was soupier than I was expecting. There's a couple of portions left which I'll freeze for another meal.

I have a very stiff and sore arm after the flu jab and feel a tad below par, combined with my post physio soreness and I think a gentle day is needed. Weather is rubbish so another incentive to have a quiet day. The recycling bin needs to go out but DS2 will see to that and apart from routine chores and cooking there's nothing that must be done today.

More of the pumpkin soup for lunch and Thai green chicken & veg curry for dinner.

We had quite a bit of rain during the night although it dried up around 9am and turned into a lovely sunny day.

For lunch I had an egg, lettuce and tomato sandwich.

For dinner I’m going to something similar to this recipe

    https://www.waitrose.com/ecom/recipe/one-pot-spanish-style-chicken-with-peppers-olives-mixed-grains?srsltid=AU7gw4XzaXwjs8lXzI5mU3sOn3ZJAGHLUulUXLblW7LBoUmH061iLi8M

I have a cooked chicken thigh to use, a packet of the spanish style grains in the cupboard as well as peppers in the freezer

No problem caronc, I am terrible at remembering to include links! I think I use less stock now you mention it and I like the idea of adding cayenne, I usually use more smoked paprika in everything than recipes say 😁

Office day so roast pepper and feta harissa couscous with tomatoes, cucumber and rocket in a lunchbox. Just had early tea of prawn and veg thai red curry with noodles 🍜 😋

Farway my sister and I we're discussing the pigs and the nice pork 😋 she's says it's wasted on my BIL so no longer buys it 😁

As punishment his lordship woke me before six this morning, I did pop back to bed after feeding and letting him out which probably wasn't a good idea as I only dozed and had weird dreams. Just as well I had no plans today other than pottering.

Tomato and mozzarella salad for lunch.

Prawn and feta Saganaki with orzo for dinner
