Caron I hope your lurgy is a mild one Farway. Seems to be, had a rough night with tickly cough & the heat, so up early & out watering, again. Still have slight tickly throat but apart from general worn out from lack of sleep I'm fine
Grey and much cooler here today. Rain due from tonight for the next couple of weeks which feels more "normal" for here than the hot temperatures Still on Gas 9 here, with a few drips of rain maybe tomorrow, then back to roasting.
Lunch, maybe a veggie burger, think there's one in freezer somewhere
Dinner, Pan fried salmon fillet, new spuds & salad

Good morning everyone,
Sorry you had a rough night Farway, my lurgy is definitely on the wane just need my energy levels to perk back up, Definitely one that has made me feel really washed out despite relatively mild symptoms.
Grey, cool and wet here today. Pooch sitting this afternoon so will see DGD for a bit, apart from that I've no real plans. Greek style scrambled eggs with avocado for lunch. A treat for dinner tonight - sirloin steak, peppercorn sauce, various veg and AF new potatoes.

No cfo yesterday, I had a friend visiting so we indulged in a seafood sharing platter at the pub followed by coffee and cake so I only needed a slice of grilled cheese on toast early evening. We had a lovely catch up and walk around the bay until the smoke from the Cairngorm wildfire engulfed the town and drove us inside.
Today I've had a brunch of bacon & a fried egg in a ciabatta roll.
Some pork mince is defrosting at the moment to make a pork & apple burger for dinner tonight with some sweet potato wedges and slaw.

Fairly lazy day after a long week. Bits of tidying and life admin, some browsing for summer clothing and a small grocery shop.
Posh fishfinger and HM coleslaw sandwich for lunch. Cooler weather so had a break from the salad and made sausage and spinach gnocchi tonight 😋

Another disturbed night with coughing & heat. But apart from tired no bad lurgy affects.
Much cooler this morning, clouded over & just a hint of moisture in the air, the rest of you nicked the rain before it arrived here😁
Nothing planned, may manage a bit of lolling around after the restless night.
Lunch, TBD, but N2BT grilled cheese on toast sounds tempting
Dinner, a break from salad now it's cooler, I have a veggie lasagne in freezer so seems a likely candidate

I had an orange and some melon and toast with Marmite.
I'm going to have the other ready made lasagne for lunch with salad.

The garden is looking better after some much needed rain, hopefully it might be helping to dampen down the wildfires, according to social media the smoke has reached the Norwegian coast.
Leftover pork & apple burger for lunch, I sliced it up and stuffed it into a pitta with some leftover slaw.
Dinner is vegetable fried rice with some hot smoked salmon.

Good evening everyone,
Late on parade - my brunch meet up with friends extended into afternoon coffee as well. It was lovely to catch up. I had French toast with whipped avocado, confit tomatoes and pumpkin seeds and it was delicious. Lurgy has pretty much gone bar for some lingering stuffiness.
Had lovely DGD cuddles yesterday and her second tooth is also well through. No sign of any top buds so they'll be a bit away yet.
Weather wasn't as wet as forecast though is closing back in now. DS2 has headed for a few hours catch and release fishing at localish loch, it's mainly perch which neither of us are keen on and the tide times are awkward so no mackerel attempts! HM Thai green curry chicken & veg soup from the freezer for dinner.

it tried to rain this morning but not worth mentioning! It did smell like it had but by the time I looked out only the patio was a little damp but nothing else.
Cheese on toast for lunch copying from others 🙂
LO chicken and orzo tray bake with roast veg

Think I fell asleep without posting last night. We had had a tiny bit of rain very early yesterday morning and was breezy all day but no proper rain so back out with the watering can in the evening.
Domestic morning then out for a swim. Houmous, carrot sticks, flatbread, feta and olives for lunch. Tea and cake during a family outing in the afternoon 😋. Halloumi, new potato and red pepper traybake with green salad for tea.
