I bought some new storage containers for food as I want to do more meal prep and eat at home more. It is working quite well as it is much easier to just pull something already prepared out of the fridge. I just had some chopped pineapple and then a Greek salad I made yesterday.

I’m going for a walk today so I might get a cake and drink while I’m out but I have leftovers for dinner. I just need to buy some salad bits to go with it.

Up early for me, and after breakfast I was out pruning my the last apple tree before it gets too hot. That's me done for the day! 😁

Very nice summer day so far, may just get a splash of rain on Saturday, enough to start the blackberries going manky but not enough to water the parched gardens

Lunch, use the last of the HM grated cheese & carrot in a sandwich

Dinner, rinse & repeat, another pasty, AF chips & salad bits

We've had some light rain overnight and it’s still a tad overcast at the moment. It is supposed to brighten up this afternoon so I’m cracking on with domestic chores and dinner prep before heading out later.

Tuna and cucumber sandwich for lunch.

There’s a third of a cauli left that needs to be used, it should make two generous portions of cauliflower cheese, one for tonight with grilled sausages and one for the freezer.

    Good morning everyone,

Rain threatened a few times yesterday but never arrived, no sign of and dark clouds so far today. The weather is supposed to break on Saturday. Lurgy is no better or worse had a decent night but still feel pretty wabbit so another gentle day planned. Really just picked at my dinner last night but did feel hungry when I woke. Plenty of LOs for lunch. I'm hoping the HB's Spanish style chicken traybake tempts my tastebuds tonight. Spanish-style chicken bake - Recipes - Hairy Bikers
