Extra day volunteer at Petworth today due to volunteer holidays and even with the blinds now working it was hot and I was unpleasantly sweaty 🥵
I popped into Tescos as I drive pass it on the way home picked up some half price sea bass and strawberries and a few bits fell into my bag, I forgot what I popped in for until I got home, it was for lunch can wait until tomorrow as I park in Sainsbury carpark on Friday.

Hot & sunny again, supposed to get back to more normal mid 20s from tomorrow
Seeing Brambling's mention of Tesco reminded me I have to complete my Asda delivery order for next week. And that is about all my intended "work" for today
Lunch, salad bits sandwich
Dinner, HM tinned tuna + mayo in jacket spud + salad

Good morning everyone,
Hot but hazy here this morning though it's supposed to burn off this afternoon. Domestics beckon as I'm then busy for the next three days so don't want to end up with a massive to do list next week. Tesco due later just one acceptable sub and one non-essential OOS. Tomorrow DS1, DIL and DGD are coming down for a bbq. Rotisserie chook has been requested and I'll make up some halloumi, new potato and veg kebabs. A couple of salads and some bought deli bits should cover us and we won't need to spend too much time on prep.
LO curry for lunch today. Tonight is tbc probably a chicken thigh as I've ordered a pack to use later in the week.

Made it to the weekend! Much needed WFH day, sorted an outstanding task that I wanted rid of but other than that it was another day of nonsense and stupid queries mostly 😅
Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with cherry tomatoes for lunch. Much cooler day so had a break from salad and made prawn and veg egg fried rice tonight.

I don't miss the work nuisance JKS 😁
Usual Friday volunteering and another hot day in the office with no air conditioning, not that busy so I was finished before 5.
I'm back to scratching! I've had two bites on my elbow from something in the garden one evening, the swelling has gone down and you can see it was two bites but yesterday something got me on my other arm walking down to the car park, that is now about two inches across and is currently being iced to stop it itching. I obviously taste nice 😳
Jack wheat salad for lunch with salmon
Crispy tofu for dinner (I also crisp it in the AF Caronc, I also tear it instead of cutting it) with stir veg, sticky rice and a peanut and coconut sauce

A fresher morning, still sunny but cooler and less humid. Already had to emergency water some drooping plants out the back though.
Finalising the Asda list for midweek delivery, cost is running away again where I keep adding bit of this, bit of that. I'll give it a trim before I finish it
Lunch, another salad sandwich
Dinner, TBD, could be salad again but I fancy a change. Time for freezer rummage

Good morning everyone,
Yes the shopping bill quickly mounts up these days Farway!
Another warm but hazy day here. Got up to a freezer mishap, the door hadn't closed properly when I added stuff to it yesterday evening. Nothing lost but a prompt to haul the spare chest freezer out of the garage and get it defrosted. DS1, DIL and DGD plus pooch are expected early afternoon and we'll eat around 4pm before they head back home for her bath/bed. Poor mite is teething so no one is getting much sleep. We may or may not keep pooch for a bit we'll see what they want to do. I need to finish my cuppa and get my finger out to sort out salads etc. for later. Bbq for late late lunch/early dinner.

Catch up Saturday here, much cooler but the sun came out late afternoon 😎
Haircut and library this morning, walked to both so that was my steps sorted. Home for beans with toast for lunch.
Easy hour or so reading, book club book finished. Then out to run an errand and do a biggish (expensive) grocery shop.
Tomato, anchovy and cream cheese pasta with green beans tonight 😋

Pleasant summer morning after the oppressive heat of last week. No rain forecast for a week so it's still lugging watering cans about
Seems an epidemic of freezer troubles lately, doors left open & just duff. At least nothing lost or spoiled Caron.
I have more blackberries ready for picking in garden, not enough for pie etc, so eat raw or freeze, TBD later
Lunch, F/Finger sarnie. Bog standard Pollock, not posh. I'll try A/ Fried, normally I grill them
Dinner, more fish, Frozen cod in batter + AF chips & maybe frozen peas
