Bright and dry, looks pleasant enough, but I'm in today, Boiler Man is due this morning, I thought it was Thursday but I was muddled with my days
Brambling said:half listening to Only Connect earlier with my iPad charging next to the TV, something on their wall question caused my iPad to talk to me, not good for shock when you live alone with just the cat especially as I never use that functionality on it so wasn't use to the voiceOdd that, the other day my phone told me the answer to a query, I've never had that before, normally just read the answer.I think "they" are taking over, my PC has jsut asked if I want the Sticky Keys function on
I had to look it up, mmmn, maybe my typing is so carp even the PC feels sorry for me, should I flounce off and demand compensation for something ?

I went into town for my hair appointment and it didn't rain 🙂 I parked at Sainsbury's for the free parking and because I had a list for a friend. I picked up a side of salmon for me which is half price on offer so £9 and some YS chicken wings as I've used the last from my freezer.I dropped off my friends few bits and was supplied with a list before even took my coat off! I called her mobile supplier chasing a PAC code and then sorted her broadband as it was going up due to the contract ending and sorted her next shopping delivery. I was home about a hour before she phoned to say some of her electrics weren't working (TV, emergency call button and strangely the fridge freezer. Really not sure what I could do so in the first instance pointed her in the direction of her neighbour who sorted something in the fuse box. I can do many things and will fiddle in my own fuse box but I'm not touching anyone else's ⚡️

Good morning everyone,
After a dry, bright day yesterday it's back to wet and gloomy.
I've some prep to do for tonight's meeting and want to catch up on some chores but that's about the extent of it.
Scrambled eggs for lunch with mushrooms, spring onions and tomatoes. Spiced cauliflower and potato soup with toasted mini pita bread for dinner.1 -
I had a pot of strawberries and a ready made veggie sausage roll as the tiler is still in the kitchen. It feels very chilly today. I have the halogen heater on in here as the back door is slightly open. I can still feel a draught. It is very nice and sunny, though.1

I’ve gone down with the dreaded lurgy, I tried to work through it yesterday as it was the only dry, sunny day we’ve had for ages and I got some washing out. But I’m feeling really rough today so I've decided to give in to in the hopes that a day of rest will improve things.
Not much cooking being done, I’m just thankful for the portions of soup and easy meals I have in the freezer.
