We started off dry but as soon as I left the house just after 1.30pm it started to rain, I just needed to pick up some stuff in Sainsbury's for my share of a dinner tomorrow.

Good morning everyone,
That sounds like a delicious soup Wednesday. It's pretty much always soup weather in this house!
After a horrible day yesterday it's grey but dry and calm here this morning. Managed to get my preferred Christmas and New Year delivery slots booked despite not logging on at silly o'clock to bag them so I was surprised the ones I wanted were free. I seem to have a list of smallish domestic jobs that have built up over the last few months, the ones that don't need doing every week and then you notice that they do lol! Today I'm going to take the knobs of my cooker and give behind them a good scrub as I noticed the other they were a bit cruddy and needing more than just a wipe over. My cooker is 23 years old so it's days of being bright and sparkly are long gone but it will look better for a good scrub down.

I was later than usual getting home last night and just grabbed soup and a sandwich before vegging out in front of the tv.
Lunch today was a salad sandwich followed by some fruit.
Dinner will be stuffed pasta with asparagus and a pesto sauce.

I had a quick sandwich before I left and just had a packet of crisps when I got home from my 31st class of the year.

I will heat up the soup when I feel hungry and have it with a buttered roll.1 -
Mild here again, damp this morning, brightened up after lunch, tipping it down now. Heated airer in use today.
Early meals today - scrambled eggs and avocado on toasted English muffin for lunch before heading out to a meeting. Had cream cheese, roasted tomato and green bean spaghetti a little while ago so I can swim later.1
