I saw the quiche idea online so stole it 🙂 It's very similar to a crustless quiche recipe I make (150g cottage cheese with 3 eggs or 4 if small) add any thing which takes your fancy 😁 this was enough for three boats, sprinkle with grated cheese.  The recipe was 180c for 30 minutes which I tweaked for the airfryer.  They are lighter than made with pastry and I picked up the boats when they were on offer and they have been lurking in the cupboard. Will make again, better when hot but I did reheat today.

i was due to have my landline replaced today, it started well as the guys arrived at 8am and then realised that something was wrong (I don't have some connection?) they called a manager and we're on hold for nearly a hour, i said I know how they feel! I was a bit annoyed as they just left without telling me and I then received a email to say another team would be back within 27 days. Things have been rearranged back. .

Definitely soup weather 🙂 I made a vegetable soup, with chickpeas, rice noodles and meatballs, I pulled lamb mince from the freezer rather than chicken in error, even lean it was a bit too lamby I'll go back to chicken or turkey mince next time.  But healthy with eight different vegetables in it and about six  portions made.

Lunch was a large bowl of soup.  Dinner with another of my quiches with salad

    Good morning everyone,
Yes definitely soup weather though so far, apart from one day, we managing fine without the heating on though I'm lighting the stove in the evening.
Another soupy day here with more of the carrot and coriander for lunch and tonight my sis is coming for dinner and I'm making this soupy stew Savoy, chorizo & borlotti bean broth | Tesco Real Food which we'll have with crusty bread.

Bright & sunny this morning, another great looking Autumn day so far.

I'm all set for soup, but postponed for another day because I have a gammon steak to use up, having opened the pack of two.

Freshly made BM loaf this morning, mustn't shout too loudly, but since I changed my yeast supply from the little tins, my loaves turn out well

    Lunch, salad sandwich
Dinner, grilled gammon steak, AF LO boiled new spuds, sort of chip style & salad bits

I had a banana and a lemon tea before my reflexology appointment. I almost fell asleep 😴 four times on her table.😍 Very relaxing.

I was famished when I got home so I had baked beans, grilled tomatoes, air fried tofu slices and a toasted ciabatta roll with butter.

I have a reiki session this afternoon to go to.

It was a chilly start here but warmed up nicely as the morning went on. I’m also managing without having to put the heating on but don't think it will be too much longer before I have it taking the chill off in the mornings especially in the bathroom.

Still more eggs needed using up so I hardboiled them for a lunchtime sandwich.

I have way too many small quantities of stuff in the freezer that I want to use up, tonight it's the last few raw prawns in the bag, a small pot of curry sauce, a handful of peppers & green beans.

A pottering at home day, I'm still a little achy from doing too much (or maybe too much sitting) at the weekend I'm told by my sister who popped in after work that I was limping again. Ittoowill pass as long as I don't over do it volunteering.  She did wheel my bin out for me 🙂

Soup for lunch.  Roast chicken for dinner, there will be LO for a few days

Grey & dreary, damp, not raining, just damp.

I've put a slow cooker pot of soup on for today, smells nice right now, but a few more hours to go yet.
I know I could do it more quickly on the hob, but I can leave the SC to just get on with it and does not need watching

Lunch, may be bacon sarnie, I bought a pack of bacon bits this shopping, some of which are in the soup, and looks like enough left for a picky sarnie

Dinner, the SC soup, with HM bread to dip in

    Good morning everyone,
Sounds as though a few gentle days are needed Brambling.
Grey and chilly here again but forecast to be dry which is good as I'm off out this afternoon to meet friends for a late afternoon cuppa/catch up. One of the "girls" lives abroad and is only very briefly over with a squillion things to do so it was the only time we could all manage to see each other before she heads back tomorrow.
Last night's soupy stew was really very good. Apart from adding a red pepper and a bit more stock I followed the recipe and it made a lot more than 4 portions. The three of us had a good bowlful, DS2 and my sis had seconds and there's enough left for another main meal for the two of us!
Lunch today will be another portion of the carrot and coriander soup with a couple of corn thins with cream cheese. Dinner will be the usual Friday tbc.

I feel quite achy today, but that might be as the weather seems to have turned a bit cooler. I have done a lot of walking this week. I'm at almost 70,000 steps already.

I just had a smoothie and I got some wraps out of the freezer last night and I'm going to make bean wraps with corn, peppers, onion and salad I have some jalapenos and tajin to spice it up. I might do them in a minute as i feel quite hungry.
