Fingers crossed you get your hospital appointment sorted Brambling

Ooooh Caronc those sausages are lovely, although I was getting a bit embarrassed by the strong smell of garlic wafting out of my shopping bag whilst travelling home on a warm bus :D  I think they would also be great using them out of the skins and making little nuggets for a pasta or rice dish

Lunch today was hummus, raw veg and breadsticks.

Tonight its the chicken and butter bean curry I made yesterday with some plain rice, ss peas and poppadum.

Day off work today and I’ve helped out with some family childcare. Sun came out this afternoon so a holiday ice cream was enjoyed 😋

Had lunch out and tonight was an easy reheat of a portion of nutty sweet potato stew from the freezer, with a toasted pitta. I’ve made tomorrow’s packed lunch and am now sat with a cuppa in front of the telly. Back to work for a rest tomorrow 😂

Things may have changed, but with my card the DD was not collected if I paid up ASAP, and I think I had option of paying on receipt of bill.
However, I can see for most just pay on set date every month would be the best & easy option

It's all got a bit messy 😣 until recently she always popped into M&S to pay her CC off each month but was finding it difficult.  I setup it up to pay everything off each month with a DD on the CC app but it wants to do it on the due date but for some reason she is going into the banking app and paying it off on the statement date, but as she is having severe sight issues at the moment she can't see how to do it that way.  The conversation went around in circles and will need to be revisited!

I called the hospital before driving to Petworth this morning and have been given a date of the 17th July for my operation.  Just a couple of appointments before then, pre op and bloods unfortunately not the same day but I really glad to have the date which hopefully won't change.

A extra day at petworth as it's half term, it looked like rain this morning but turned into a nice day so waterproof wasn't needed after all 🙃

salmon salad with potato salad for lunch

LO sweet n sour pork with peaches which I forgot to eat yesterday

Damp & dull, not actually raining, just damp

Good news on Op Brambling, hospitals are the very devils for having things on separate days.
I'm sure sorting this out this would be one of the money saving “efficiencies” we keep hearing about that never happens

Lunch, sandwich of some sort TBD
Dinner, Chicken & veg Pukka pie, with ?????

    Good afternoon everyone,
Glad you've got an op date Brambling.
Yes they are lovely N2BT, I'm thinking of popping a couple of packs in my order this week while they are on SO.
Dreich and not feeling hugely warm here today.
Last night's curry was really good, just as well as it made loads. We'll both have some with pitta or lunch and I'll freeze the rest.
Trying this recipe tonight Peruvian Chicken with Green Sauce (Aji Verde) . I'll make some spicy vegetable rice and steamed broccoli to have with it.

I went for a quick walk around the park earlier and it was very warm and sunny. I had wholemeal toast with the last of the mushroom spread when I got home, along with a cup of green tea. It looks less sunny now and i'm about to play fetch with my dog in the garden.

Sunshine and showers again, I don't mind the rain so much but there's a bitterly cold wind with it.

Good idea Caronc, I noticed on the packaging it said "summer edition" so they may likely disappear from the shelves when bbq season is over. I love the sound of tonight's chicken dish.

Lunch today was crusty bread with pate, tomato and cucumber.

Spag bol tonight with asparagus, broad bean and radish salad on the side

It does feel chilly even though it’s not actually cold, must be the damp and grey.

Orzo pesto pasta salad with roasted peppers, olives and feta for lunch. Going to do prawn and sugar snap pea Thai curry with noodles in a bit 😋

I had a bad sleep last night so the damp weather this morning matched my mood 🥱 I did t go out but did have SM delivery.

i lost a small nut from a embroidery hoop which bounced quite a way and took ages to find under my desk in the dining room.  Whilst pulling everything out at least it all got cleaned behind before pushing back, dust bunnies are no more 😁

Sausage and fried onion sandwich for lunch.

Last duck leg added to stir fried rice for dinner
