Lidl isn't as handy for me as other SM's but if their Greek week were on I'd make the effort especially as I haven't had the Greek beans for ages, anyone know when it is? Noticed it's the Asian one at the moment.

Cold meat, couscous, tomato & cucumber for lunch.

Moussaka tonight with a raw cabbage & ss pea slaw, maybe some hm garlic bread too ;)

    Good afternoon everyone,
    Forgot to post yesterday.
What a change in the weather. yesterday was very rainy with torrential downpours in the evening. It was dry and sunny this morning but the wind is building and the storm clouds gathering again.
Dinner last night was posh fish finger sandwiches with salad and HM coleslaw. There's salad and coleslaw LO which I'll have with some cheese for lunch. Dinner tonight is tbc, DS2 has headed to Glasgow  and may end up eating with DS1 and DIL2B in which the steaks defrosting in the fridge will be dinner tomorrow and I'll see what I fancy making later. Pooches have gone with DS2 so I'm going make the most of the empty house and have a thorough hoover and mop through. Between beach walks and muddy woods there's lot of sand and general debris as well as dog hair. I've been sweeping daily but it doesn't keep up with it!

Various events cancelled locally today due to forecast high winds, it was blowy and rainy off and on but not as bad as expected and warm in the sun, very April showers weather really. Ended up having lunch with family so just dinner to sort which was prawn saganaki with fresh bread and broccoli.

    Back to sunny weather today.

His lordship has decided he no longer likes fish favour cat food and unfortunately that's all I had in, I lost the battle of wills and was guilted into going to Pets at Home after lunch 🙄 they are revamping and have blocked off half their car spaces and they have rearranged everything inside, luckily there was a lovely assistant looking out for those of us looking lost and confused 🙂

Home via Sainsbury's for milk and I was led astray with £1 YS large prawns and packs of two cooked salmon pieces. I'm not usually greedy but did succumb to two packs of prawns and three salmon, ten meals for £5 I have raw salmon in the freezer but I do like the cooked salmon and use it a lot for salad lunches when I volunteer. A YS donut also fell into my bag!

Ham salad roll for lunch using the last part baked roll.  Jos sweet n sour pork and peaches using some pork fillet from the freezer with rice and tenderstem broccoli

Cold wind but sunny, promised rain never arrived, so out watering earlier, again.

I did mange to get a few sticks of rhubarb from my plants yesterday, enough for a small sample bowl. Roll on next year when the plants should be up & running.

    Lunch, another salad sarnie
Dinner, into use up territory. LO mash, defrosted sausages, black pudding & fried eggs.

My cat doesn't like the fish flavoured food too Brambling. We have to give her a kidney friendly diet now as well.

I'm about to eat the last two crumpets and make a smoothie. I forgot to get the frozen raspberries out last night so I will have to give them a while to defrost.

    Good afternoon everyone,
Excellent YS haul Brambling :) .
Wet , chilly and windy here.
My sis popped by for a cuppa this morning, I've no plans for the rest of the day. I'm still fighting a cold/throaty bug so happy to have a quietish one.
DS2 is back in Glasgow helping with DS1's kitchen refurb. He ate there last night so steak dinner for us tonight. Last night I made jerk spiced chicken wings, crispy potatoes and veg. I cooked extra wings to have for lunch today.

Sunshine and showers here but definitely cooler than it has been. Got my washing out early and dried before the showers came along at lunchtime.

Last of the cold meat for lunch with more of the couscous, coleslaw and radish.

I have some aubergine leftover from yesterday so thought I would try one of the recipes from the Tesco magazine tonight Aubergine schnitzel with garlicky green beans | Tesco Real Food

Sag aloo for dinner tonight. Annoyingly I’ve hardly got any room in the freezer so I may be eating it for a few days.

Bit of a mixed weather day and the rain has properly set in this evening. Cleaned the insides of all of the windows this morning, and did some dusting and hoovering. Went out for a walk this afternoon and met up with family for tea and cake 🙃

Tuna, broccoli and pesto pasta tonight.

I’ve also prepped fruit and packed lunch for tomorrow, oh and washed up 😂
