Good afternoon everyone,
It's lovely and sunny after a frosty start. There's no breeze so it's actually feeling quite warm.
I'm Hector and Frank sitting while DS2 pops to see his Dad and give him a hand to make his garden more secure for pup.
LO pulled pork taco mix for lunch which I'll toast in a wrap. I'll also portion up and freeze the rest of the plain pork.
Roast turkey breast for dinner using a small joint bought on SO at Christmas. We'll have it with various veg, roasties and gravy.0 -
Nice and sunny here too but still a chilly breeze so temp is back down to single figures.
It was quite a chunky piece of salmon I got yesterday so there's plenty left for another big salad for lunch.
Tonight I'm doing a version of "Glamorgan sausages" but using cheddar and spring onions instead of caerphilly and leeks, served with a hm tomato sauce and more of the ts broccoli and ss peas on the side.Jan - Mar Grocery spends = £225.20

Welcome back JKS sounds like you have made some major changes in your life, hope you are settled I. Your new home.
We are still getting the lovely sunny weather here, the last couple of days have been tee shirt days
My sister and I went to see a on screen showing of Six today it was a 2.30pm showing which always throws me out tI e wise for the rest of the afternoon, it was a full house as well. We both really enjoyed it 🙂
Fish finger sandwich for lunch. A cooked breakfast for a nice quick dinner when I got in, I popped into my sister's for a cuppa on the way back as I had parked at hers and we walked or in my case hobbled on the way back after two hours sitting down

Have been eating out this weekend as away from home. Back home now and back to healthy eating and a budget. Have just taken a macaroni cheese with vegan ham (not entirely successful addition) out of the freezer and will have that tomorrow with little gem lettuce salad. Natural yoghurt with blueberries and seeds for breakfast, a cream cheese sandwich and an apple for lunch.0 bonus saver

Hope you can get your computer sorted out, I'm probably going to need a new laptop in the next year so hanging fire installing Windows 11 on this one.
Another chilly start, but sunny and warming up now. I have my monthly mauling at physio in an hour then I think I'll just noodle in the garden for a bit after lunch.
DS1 arrives tonight for a couple of nights as he's off to a wedding nearby tomorrow. My sis is also dropping Ari off later as she off to Greece for a week so it will be a full house doggy-wise for a few days.
There's turkey LO from yesterday's joint so turkey salad for lunch. Tonight it's yoghurt lamb curry based on a Chetna Makan chicken recipe. I prepped the lamb yesterday and it has been marinating overnight so not much to do later. We'll have it with rice, naan and salad and I might make some spicy onions.0 -

Hello again JKS.
I had Indian Head Massage this morning and it was so lovely and relaxing. I could almost have a nap now.
It is nice weather again and lots of families were in the park having picnics on my way home.
I had toasted crumpets this morning and I had some tortilla chips and a nectarine as a snack. I'm having a burger in a bun, fries and a huge salad with coleslaw soon as I didn't have lunch yet.0 -
Thanks everyone. Nice to be back, although almost forgot to post tonight. Bread and cheese for lunch with cherry tomatoes and cucumber sticks (there’s yummy cheese in the fridge LO from feeding people at the weekend so need to pace myself 😂). Chicken, red pepper and pea egg fried rice tonight.
Another sunny but cool in the breeze sort of day, perfect for drying the load of towels I put out. I had a short walk at lunchtime too, the sun really is so lovely to see, definitely feels spring like 🙃0
