My massage today was more painful than the first one last week! I think is from looking down on my phone too much. I'm going to try and break that habit. I had a yoghurt before I left and some crumpets when I got home.

I think there must have been a fox in my garden last night as the chair was moved and my dog keeps barking out there.

There was garden furniture getting moved around here too Wednesday but it was due to the wind; really gusty at times in the early hours thankfully eased off a bit now.

Tidied the freezer this morning and did an inventory before sitting down to do my big online shop.

Found the last portion of the tuna loaf/medley thing I had stashed away - had it for lunch with a nice salad.

Also from the freezer is a pork chop in pizzaiola sauce for tonight with some mashed potato and green beans.

Another nice day here, I wishing now that I did my washing

A portion of turkey soup from the freezer for lunch,I forgot how nice it was 🙂

Family dinner at my sister and nephew's tonight, i did query the invite as it's Mother's Day and was advised it was roast lamb 😋 so didn't argue. My sister's granddaughter is three next weekend but is having her birthday gatherings this weekend as they are trying for third time lucky on having her tonsils out a few days later and she will spend the next week trying to a avoid too many people as the last two ops were cancelled last minute after she was hospitalised with colds/asthma just before hand.  My sister was still recovering from the children's party yesterday which was six three year olds 😁

More sun & blue sky, plus warming up.
The forecast is the same all week, so you may yet get the washing out Brambling.

I've been watering the pots at the front already this morning, now I know it's not going to rain I thought I'd better get it done. I'll top up the bird bath later, it's bone dry, I was thinking rain would arrive, but it never did.

    Lunch, sandwich but inside TBD
Dinner, some sort of salad, maybe open a tin of over processed meat :)

    Good afternoon everyone,
AWOL yesterday as had a lovely surprise of both DSs and DIL2B being here for most of the day. Always the best Mother's Day pressie though I did also appreciate the gorgeous bouquet and JO's Easy Air Fryer book, and on the back of that treated myself to a new air fryer with drawers which I'd been considering for a while. The book is very CFO friendly with most of the recipes being for one or two as far as I can see.
Today I had a passport photo so I could renew online then met a friend for a sandwich lunch a local coffee shop, I had Coronation chicken which was very tasty. The photo isn't terrible but aside from not having a purple rinse/shampoo and set it could be my paternal grandmother!!
Easy dinner tonight of sweet potato and chickpea curry from the freezer with rice and naan. I'll make some raita to have with it.

    Good morning everyone,
Glorious day here.  :) I've finally made the top of my roofer's list after the last storm so that will get that off the needs doing list. Thankfully DS2's assessment re the damage was pretty much spot on and only minor stuff is needed to make things weather proof again.
Fridge gravel salad for lunch. MY sis is coming for dinner, I'm making "Hawaiian Chicken" which is basically Hunters Chicken with pineapple so nice and easy. We'll have it salad a roasted baby potatoes,

I forgot to post yesterday as well N2BT 🙂

It's been a lovely day again, I decided to use my free NT membership card and go to Nymans this morning. The carpark was almost full and it didn't feel busy when walking around, although I gave up on the cuppa and cake lunchtime due to the queue. I was walking around in short sleeves carrying my jacket.

i came home via the new Range which replaced our Homebase, it looks like Homebase closed and they just moved their stock in, same shelves etc so it still looks tired, nothing called 'come buy me' so as its next to Tesco I got a few bits in there and used my £3 voucher when spending £20. I picked up one YS half price blackberries and realised when I got home I had forgotten the cooking apple to make a crumble.

i was home for a very late lunch so just a apple and some cheese.  Using LOs from yesterday stir fried rice for dinner with chicken

    Good morning everyone,
    Cracking photos Brambling.
Another lovely sunny day here, though it did get very cold last night and it's to drop again tonight so it's not feeling as warm out as the sunshine suggests. So lovely to see some brightness at last.
Domestic bits and bobs today and I'm hoping my new garden table arrives as DS2 is away tomorrow and it will be too big for me to manhandle.
LO salad with cottage cheese for lunch. Enchiladas tonight using chilli from the freezer and tomato sauce I cooked yesterday while I was making last night's meal.
