It has brightened up a lot and still feels mild. The doctor gave me exercises to do at home for my rotator cuff.
I had sourdough toast with cream cheese and Marmite when I got home. I just had a raspberry yoghurt with fresh raspberries as a snack.

It looks quite nice out there today, slight chill in the air but sunny and blue sky.

Good morning everyone,
Forgot to post yesterday after spending a large chunk of the day on the phone to HMRC in connection with my voluntary admin. What difference a helpful person can make after going round in circles with the first call agent who couldn't/wouldn't accept they might have made a mistake and in the remote chance they had I'd just need to suck it up and do what was asked anyway! It was their error and took the second person no time at all to rectify so worth persisting.
Cold wet and very windy here today. I'm looking after Hector and Frank for a couple of hours and Frank is a bit unsettled with the gusts. Lunch is tbc probably soup from the freezer. Tonight we are all heading to my sister's for a roast beef dinner, usually more of a Sunday meal but we were struggling to get dates that worked for everyone and she was keen to make one.0 -
Wet and windy here so nothing much happening other than a bit of cleaning and me taking the opportunity to catch-up on some tv.
Chicken pasta salad for lunch and tonight I'm using up a few odds and ends/picky bits with cheese scones, pickles, radish, roquefort & a pear.Jan - June Grocery spends = £531.61

Volunteering day at Petworth today the weather was lovely which meant a nice steady stream of visitors but not manic. The daffodils planted on the grass slopes leading up to the house were beautiful. Just a shame I was working 😁 I received my free year membership to the NT today (they only issue in March as long as you have at least 50 hours of volunteering) plus six free entries to Petworth for a guest which my sister already has her eyes on when she popped in for a couple of hours tonight
Quiche and salad for lunch and a not so healthy egg, bacon and chips for a lazy dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
