It is quite warm and mild here today. I just saw that there isn't a football game at 2 today, only two games later.

I have 6 library books to pick up. I think the notifications must be going to my junk mail as I only saw it yesterday when I actually logged in to my library account.

I have had a banana but I will have a toasted ciabatta roll in a minute with either vegan bacon or peanut butter.

  • A lovely early summer day here so it was very pleasant wfh. Got the obligatory load of washing dried on the line 🙃

Tortellini, tuna, sweetcorn and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Prawn, cashew and veg egg fried rice tonight. Realised too late that I had run out of ginger and toasted sesame oil so it was a bit average.

Been out for a walk this evening and now having the rest of the Gruyère with the last of the cherries 😋

Lovely day here as well although it did get very dark around 6pm for a hour but never rained

A trip to Sainsburys Lunchtime I needed some fruit and veg and picked up an extra small chicken, hopefully that will mean I won't be eating it for a week 😁 I wanted to pop into the Dr surgery which is next to the SM but they have changed their lunches to 12.30 - 1.30 and it was 12.30 🙄 they were chasing me to book a asthma review which I did later by phone ( only a ten minute wait)

I popped to the local garden centre this afternoon which is just a couple of minutes away and got tempted with their 3 for 2 🤫

lunch was a repeat of yesterday, pear, blue cheese and walnut salad.  I took a thick free range pork chop from the freezer and made a mini roast dinner for tonight

    Good morning everyone,
There's a strange yellow thing trying to break through the clouds! That said yesterday did turn out lovely later on.
Despite thinking I'd over catered the gannets my beloved family pretty much cleared the decks last night. There's just some picking bits of ham and chicken and a spodge of HM coleslaw LO for lunch. Enough roasties to feed a platoon were inhaled! We're getting together again on Saturday for bbq (though might be indoor lol).
JO's sausage pasta tonight for dinner.

I just had toasted crumpets and Flora.

It is quite nice and mild again, but not really sunny.

I think we perhaps have the best of the weather here today; lovely and sunny although there is a moderate breeze adding a chill to the air. Got bedding washed and out early back in and dry by lunchtime.

Took delivery of a comfy, swivel/recliner just in time for this afternoons game - I'm very happy cause I can now swivel from viewing the telly to taking in my sea view  :)  B)

Lunch was a ham, rocket and nectarine salad with a couple of crispbreads. Defrosting some channa dhal and I'll do some Ultimate Mushroom Bhaji in just 15 minutes - Vegan Punks to have with it as well as a couple of poppadum's.

Mostly sunny today, so took advantage & potted up some fuchsias, nice & easy for the summer.

Asda delivery arrived on time, one sub, posh instead of cheap, so OK by me. No live coriander in pot, I had hoped to get it into eh garden, added on next delivery.

Lunch, tried one of the new, to me, frozen, minted lamb burgers delivered today on multi buy offer.
    Tasted OK but nothing special
Dinner, another of the lamb burgers, no roll, with frozen AF chips and maybe a couple of eggs

Having a rummage for the Occasion Suit, I've a funeral tomorrow over Salisbury way. It's 2 PM, so no CFO for me tomorrow.

  • Turned into another lovely day here after an overcast start. Usual Wednesday morning offsite meeting but was home by lunchtime 🙃

Greek salad couscous for lunch. Quick reheat tea of pea and mint risotto from the freezer, with some grilled vine tomatoes for tea. Then out to a voluntary meeting. Have just had a cereal bar with my cuppa 😉

Neighbours behind me had their leylandii trees removed today, they aren't directly behind me so the trees haven't bothered me but it did make a noisy day as the tree shredder was in the garage block behind me 🙃 they were very tall so it took all day.  I went for a walk around a local garden to avoid it for a while and took a hummus and carrot wrap to eat for lunch

I picked up a YS butter chicken and pilau rice RM at Tesco Exp when buying milk this evening £1 instead of £4.75 not a make I recognise but I very rarely eat RM I would buy again if I see it YS it's a bright orange box so I'll recognise it again 😁

Sunny day, which is good because I'm off to a funeral later, not the happiest of occasions but at least a bright sunny day helps

Afterwards it's in a County Pub so some buffet stuff I expect
I've not planned dinner because I've no idea when I'll be back home, it's in a village near Salisbury, so could be early evening by the time I get back
At least it's daylight for travelling this time of year
