    Good morning everyone,
Herbs and tomatoes have been cleared from the conservatory, there was a scary number of caterpillars lurking in the parsley pot!
I didn't the area cleaned down afterwards as my sis popped by for a cuppa, I'll get that done today.
Dread to think what will happen today at Westminster!
DS2 is away today so just me and bold Hector, the weather is rubbish so it will pottering indoors with the odd foray to the garden. DS2 will walk him tonight when he gets back.
LO pasta for lunch, Thai green chicken & veg curry for dinner.
  • Busy office day done, looking forward to my catch up wfh day tomorrow and then a relaxing weekend, been a long week…

Grey and damp day so enjoyed my spicy parsnip soup and toasted pitta lunch. Quick and easy salmon and broccoli pesto pasta tonight.

Narrow squeak with the cyclist by sounds of it Brambling, I don't think they realise just how invisible they are at times, mind you it cuts both ways, when I used to cycle to work I was lit up like a Christmas tree, flashing lights, high viz jacket, reflectors, the lot, but still had cars pull out and hit me. Just can't win sometimes

I had a work colleague who was knocked off his bike about ten years ago and had life altering injuries, he had all the kit too Farway but on a busy A road on a wet January night just wasn't seen. But lights and high viz gives them some chance. It's like dog walkers dressed in black on country road (no pavements) at night with black dogs 🙄 when I drove to work I knew where one walked at the same time each evening but saw many cars make sudden swerves

Busy day with just two of us working, but it made the day go quick 🙂 and we managed to tick off a large item on the to do list.

Lunch was chicory, blue cheese and pear salad although annoying two of my pears which look fine turned out bad inside 😐. Dinner was a lurking YS pizza which has been taking room up in the freezer for a while, cold pizza for lunch tomorrow 😁

A wet morning again, set for all day on & off supposedly, sun's just peeping out now making the yellow leaves look very Autumnal

Brambling, must be manky pear week, I had one, scrumped from next door that looked yummy but, like yours, rotten inside. At least mine was free. Luckily my OG apples are holding out and storing well so far, I check them often and bin the occasional manky one

Food today is very unimaginative, use up mainly
Lunch, use up last of stale slices for a cheese & HM chutney toastie
Dinner, cold, maybe warm through? LO C & O flan, with HM AF chips & some salad

    Good morning everyone,
Weather is still manky, DS1 & DIL-to-be plus friends have cancelled their camping trip to Loch Lomond as the forecast remains poor. Good decision I think! Tesco have been and groceries put away. I slept longer than usual so it was a bit of a flurry to get organised for the delivery. More tea needed before I clean the bathroom etc.
Scotch egg and salad for lunch. Usual Friday freezer rake for dinner.
  • I've had toast and a banana for breakfast. I had a stuffed pitta bread when I got in from the GP and pharmacy.

I'm another one who slept longer than usual this morning, unfortunately both my alarms (furry and non furry) failed to go off this morning.  I woke with the bin collectors just after 7am and the next thing I knew it was 8.55  :# I rarely get out of bed after 8am even on Sunday thanks to his lordship. Will need to check my elderly clock radio but it could have been 4.5kg of cat sitting on it last night try to knock the bedside lamp off the bedside table🙄. I dashed downstairs to log on in my dressing grown and my only other colleague who was working today didn't logged on until 9.15am 🙄 so no one knew  :) it did leave me out of sorts all day,I like a more leisurely start these days  :)

lunch was LO pizza  :)  I made broccoli cheese for dinner with LO greens and a couple of rashers of bacon.

Dry & sunny start, which is good because it's 'flu jab later this morning, and collect my prescription, in different locations though, and I suspect collecting the prescription may be a bit of a parking faff because the chemist shares parking with a Covid booster centre, but at least most will be in & out PDQ

Meals for today, I enjoyed yesterday's cheese toastie so much I'm repeating it for lunch today
Dinner, Nuke the LO spag bol, actually it's just the bol part, there's no LO spag. Thinking I may have it with years OOD BBE [2019] boil in bag rice, or may chicken out, bin that rice & nuke an in date pouch of micro rice

    Good morning everyone,
Pouring and barely light here this morning, quite mild though.
Voluntary admin on the cards for today unless I get a better offer lol!
Lunch is tbc, possibly a BLT. HM tandoori chicken "burger, masala fries and salad for dinner.
  • I have had my usual toast and fruit for breakfast.

I am doing some decluttering and then we are going to drop off the stuff at the charity shop. We are then going for a walk on the beach. We go on a Sunday normally but my husband wants to go out to the cinema tomorrow to see Black Adam.
