Evening all!
I adore gammon and pineapple, so I'll fight to the death for it haha
Much better today, just a very phlegmy cough, so hopefully I'll be back in the gym on Saturday
Boringly, it's been a GF crumpets and protein cheese spread lunch and a piri-piri chicken, sweet potato and steamed veg meal for dinner tonight"Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!"0 -
Right, back to CFO after a night away and a day out. Thought I was going back to work for a rest after aunty duties but it was manic in the office today 😮

Good morning everyone,
Still trying to get the refund sorted out from the mucked up order, promised call back hasn't happened.
We had monsoon like rain for a couple of hours yesterday, various places in town had to close due to flooding and my bay window leaked. Need to try and find a roofer though I suspect they'll be busy!
Tesco due soon and then the garden beckons, yesterday's rain was the final straw for some of my baskets after Sunday's deluge so time to get them emptied.
Salady bits for lunch and usual Friday freezer rake for dinner.0 -

Evening all
Had an eye test and a contact lens consultation today, which ended up assauging some fears about an upcoming job interview
Was very very naughty and had a Chinese takeaway at work."Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. Enjoy your lunch on the beach Farway I'm assuming the beach hut isn't Mudeford where one was for sale last year for over 500k 😬
Nice and quiet Friday at work and we made a decision (boss Included) to ignore the usual Friday 4.30pm emails we get from our Texan colleague when she clears her inbox for the weekend 🙄

Picked the first ripe tomatoes yesterday, just two cherry ones but it's a start.

Pooch sitting today for my sister's dog, just waiting for him to be dropped off.
Salady bits for lunch. Using up a pack of homemade pigs in blankets that have been lurking in the freezer since Christmas. We're going to have them with curly fries, onion rings and salad. Not the healthiest but looking forward to it.
