PN Jaffa cakes were one of those products were they reduced the amount rather than putting the price up
Farway i have been given a Iceland eclair which i think are £1 for 6 and wasn't very impressed with it either
I've not eaten much today some just some fruit and crackers, I took a HM lasagna meal from the freezer but will have that tomorrow

candygirl said:Gorg weather here again .I'm just waiting for my Morrison's delivery , but am having an Iceland veg lasagne for tea, with a salad.
They're amazingly good n only £1 😝Snap. Just what I had, and agree on value, plus in my case far more healthy than their cardboard custard slicesI can see the £1 veg lasagne vanishing now we've discovered it, often seems to happen, probably due to 5G, Covid or BrexitRemember the good old days when everything was caused by atom bomb tests? At least it was easy to name the culprit then:
Sun's out again, checked the beans but not big enough for a meal yetMade a loaf in Panny early on. Made is slight exaggeration on tipping a ready mix pack in, adding warm water & press startLooks good now it's out, it's a mixed seed from @sda and will form part of lunch.Looking at the loaf and weather I think a nice Ploughman's would be idealDinner, ???, Now I have frozen mushrooms & sliced peppers, plus LO boiled spuds maybe a frittata plus bit of salad?

Good morning everyone,
AWOL yesterday, the day kind of disappeared on me!
You might remember I helped my elder son prep for a job, well he got it!I'm delighted for him and can't wait to see him on Monday when he's out of quarantine. No start date as yet, probably a couple months, but it's another WFH role so no need to head back to Wales.
I had lunch out yesterday with friend I've not seen since the end of January, it was lovely to have a proper catch up. We just went to the local pub and the food was as good as usual. I had a cajun spiced chicken breast sandwich with chips & salad and she had macaroni cheese with chips and garlic bread. My only complaint was that the portions were too big! Needless to say I wasn't looking for much by way of dinner yesterday evening but enjoyed a small bowl of a chicken, chilli, peanut and noodle dish my son had cooked. I was just going to have some toast but he had made too much for one so the spare was more than enough for me.
I'm CFO tonight, I haven't decided what to have yet but it will probably involve savoy cabbage as the one I bought last week was huge and so far we've hardly made a dent in it!3 -
I've eaten weirdly today. I was going to have mashed potato and vegan sausages for breakfast as I woke up hungry but I took so long in the shower that I didn't have time to make the sausages so I just had the mash!
I then had some toast and Marmite and a salad for lunch.2 -
Finished up with cheese & sliced raw onion sarnie for lunch in the end, just seemed easier once I started cutting the loaf, plus I need some onion for tonight's dinner anywayBit of a panic looking for the frozen mushrooms which I just knew I'd bought.Found lurking in base of freezer. Now defrosting along with the sliced mixed peppers for the frittata dinnerLucky you know local areas house hunting PN, sometimes looks can be deceptive, as discussed on hereSofas & fridges in front gardens tend to be a clueEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens3

Great news re you boy Caronc both on the job front and the location
When I brought this house15 years ago I was talking to a EA and she showed me details for a house I had already discounted due to its location so I said oh that's in the ........... I don't want up there, she paused asked me how long I had lived here when I said 17 years she removed two more from her pile which were in another location where at the time had a bad reputation. All three houses looked great on paper and were a really good price but as we know there is often a good reason a nice house is 20k or 30k below similar houses.
I removed a small portion of pulled pork which I had been reallocating around the freezer for far too long and had it with salad in a wrap for lunch, it was past it's best due to it's lengthy incarceration in there. Dinner will be the HM lasagna I meant to have last night it's a bigger portion than i realised as I grated lots of veg in with the mince when I made it so depending on how I feel it may be just the lasagna with no additional veg

I had one of my tyres slashed outside a house which I was only inside for a couple of minutes that was the only time I allowed the EA to persuade me to look at something I knew was in the wrong area for me. And I live in a quiet townLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin3

Good morning everyone,
Yes good old EA speak- lots of reading between the lines is essential. When she was house hunting my sis and I had a good laugh at some of the descriptions!! For the place she ended up buying the kitchen was described as basic and compact, it was a cupboard with a sink , a cooker and a small wall unit installed in the 1970s by the look of it..... Needless to say it's not like that now!
Bright and sunny here this morning, Tesco is due shortly and tonight my sis and nephew are coming round for dinner. I'm cooking chicken with lemon, dill and feta from the Diana Henry book I got at Christmas. It's my kind of cooking - bung it on a tray and bung it in the oven.My sis will bring something for pudding.
For dinner yesterday I ended up with a fridge gravel hash kind of thing topped with a poached egg. Lunch today will be a salad sandwich.3 -
I did a temp job with someone who worked as an estate agent. He was laughing about the terms they are told to use, like cosy instead of cramped, lol.
I had a sarnie for breakfast. I'm having a jacket potato with a vegan sausage and sweetcorn and salad for lunch.

A busy & sunny morning today.First stop was chiropodist, this lock down has addled my brain, appointment was for next FridayLuckily she fitted me in, and as it happened the person that was booked was a "no show" so it all worked our splendidlyPopped to co-op, got some milk but still no blooming Iceberg lettuceTopped up with diesel next stop, my first time since January. At current usage the car will drop to bits before it gets another tankfulLunch was cheese & cuc sarnieDinner, thinking of Ice£and fish cakes, chips & baked beansDid anyone watch JO programme this week, with the sausage & mash style pie?I liked the look of that and looked a good 'un for a winter's dayI like the idea of making pie with mash, ticks all sorts of boxes. Bet mince or steak would be a nice optionEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens3
