Very hot out today, with early start watering my volunteer borderPopped over the road to post Tax, and get an iceberg, but no Icebergs, had same problem last weekTuesday must be no Iceberg day in the Co-opRepurposed containers, since on line shopping I've been buying 500ml pots of Greek Yoghurt and now have a good store of flower pots for 2021I have seen milk containers cut down & used as scoops, but they must be before the weak plastic used these days, the handles bend just with milk in themMy small veg type knives are pointy end down in a coffee jarLunch toady was PB baguette, with cheese & salady fillingDinner, all frozen, breaded cod fillet, chips & peas.Had I achieved iceberg success it would've been another salad, but CBA to traipse around just for a lettuceNumerus non sum3

Took a run out to Mr T. No reduced pasties
There was a gaggle hanging round chatting, wondered why - then the assistant put out the reduced stuff in the corner, my God it's a scrum! Didn't stand a chance. One couple (tall)... she put her basket on the floor so no ducking under her, he was next to her with distance between them - and they'd blocked off most of the whole shelf.... she was then picking things up and having discussions about a multitude of items, don't know if she got anything, but she blocked most others from getting there (except the other three that'd been in the gaggle that were hoovering up anything there under cover of the tall couple. I think they're a planned regular mob that work together.
So, what did I get..... I spent £7.20. Not much really "counts as actual food" though
Flatbreads, crumpets. 4 bananas. Jam, tinned rice pudding.
Matchmakers, bag of pastilles, box of pineapple jaffa cakes, big bag of salted peanuts, 6 bags of doritos.
Pizza. Cheesecake.
Pizza's currently in the oven.... shouldn't really as I had a lasagne earlier ... and I'll be scoffing these random purchases before too long.
Oh well3 -
Nothing green PN
what are the pineapple Jaffa cakes like?
The heat seems to be encouraging the courgettes and I picked another 4 as well as a handful of runners.
I'm not sure what I ate to disagree with me yesterday other than using all the flavoured butter which came with the sea bass (I have no gall bladder) but I was awake during the night with stomach cramps or the gripes as my mum would call them which carried on into today. I wasn't ill otherwise and may have felt better if I had been sick. So today has been a day of crackers and a banana. I feel better than I did so hoping to sleep it off tonight

I only bought them as Mr T is trying to shift them at 50p/box. I'd not bother again unless they turned up at a really low price when I fancied something different. My favourites are definitely the L1dl/Polish/dark chocolate & black cherry ones, they're worth getting 1-2x a year when spotted.3 -

Something out of my crammed freezers I think. Now I've filled them up I should use them as intended, and I need to make space for XCFO food

I had cereal with almond milk for brekkie. Two cups of green tea too along with water.
I fancy making lentil bolognese for lunch. Something healthy as I had pizza two days in a row!2 -
Breakfast this morning was the final two bread crusts and 2 scrambled eggs.
Yesterday evening I managed to eat an entire pizza, half a large bag of salted peanuts, 3 jaffa cakes, 1/3rd of a large bag of fruit pastilles and some matchmakers.
I did notice that the jaffas only had 10 in the sleeve. Growing up there were always 12. People need 12 in a box, not 10, as they're more evenly divided between people. We used to have a 12-pack between four of us, so you knew your share was 3.3 -
Dinner decided, frozen Ice£and veggie lasagne, and following a tip on here, I'll top with extra cheese before I cook reheat it.I'm using the gas oven, could be nuked but I want a melting toasty style cheese toppingTried my Ice£and custard slices, terrible, I think they must have partly defrosted during delivery & then refrozeThe topping was stuck onto the interior of the box, and the custard filling was very skinny, with cardboard wafers not puff pastry.Never again, even at a quidWish W8rose would hurry up & reduce min spend to £40 online shoppingNumerus non sum3
