I've checked and it's called Wisting. I use to read Dennis Wheatley in my teens but haven't read him sinceunrecordings wrote: »I'm terrible (or rather good, depending your viewpoint) at grazing while cooking.0

I've heard about this Dracula programme. I don't really watch British TV.I've wondered that, but it provides a good income for my daughter's dog walking business, plus she does cat visiting.
If they are paying her to walk their dogs or look after their cats then they are taking care of their pets. I mean the people who just buy animals (I assume they don't do anything as responsible as adopt an unwanted animal!) and then just neglect them.:(0 -
I am feeling physically ill.
I told my husband about all the new vegan stuff in shops for Veganuary and he brought a lot of things home. I had to sample most of them of course.
I ate far too much...:rotfl: 2020 is not exactly healthy so far for me.
They were nice though, especially the Gregg's steak bake!2025 GOALS

I nearly had a meatless carvery today (go without the meat and it's £2-3 cheaper)... got to T0by and went in and was asking for it "it's about £6.29" I said and she said "It's more on a Saturday and Sunday" and she's right.
Bizarrely, the price is higher because the carvery has lamb as part of the choices, which is pricier.... and the "without meat" option is a fixed amount lower than the main amount, so the "veggie" option of no meat goes up £2.50 when they serve lamb.
You couldn't make it up.
So, I'll go later this week.
Today I can remember scoffing: some sweeties, 2 flatbreads with marmalade, an "easy peeler" and a flatbread containing a small tin of 4ldi's flavoured tuna (I was gifted over Xmas when sibling had a turn out of stuff that wouldn't be eaten).0 -

I just had toast as usual!
I have some leftover pasta with the last of the soya mince and I added some spinach and peas to it.
I have half a doughnut left too which will be eaten later with a cup of tea.:)2025 GOALS

Another dull day, cold as well when I popped the bins out, and rain due this afternoon once PN's finished with it:)
However I was staying in anyway, package due which may or may not fit the letterbox. If I stay in it will fit, if I go out it won't:(
I've had porridge and it'll be a cheese & ?? sarnie for lunch, dinner I've no idea at all, probably finish up nuking a frozen RM which I have standing by for just such a day
Not much of horror fan, but did like Dennis Wheatley, as you say Caron, "very "Mills and Boon" meets "Hammer House of Horror"
Having said that some horror films I like. "Carrie" springs to mind, the first one not the remake, and does Psycho or Birds fit in the genre?PasturesNew wrote: »I nearly had a meatless carvery today (go without the meat and it's £2-3 cheaper)... got to T0by and went in and was asking for it "it's about £6.29" I said and she said "It's more on a Saturday and Sunday" and she's right.

Good morning everyone,
Most places round here are more expensive at the weekend as they tend not to offer lunch or early bird deals. Shame the carvery didn't just add a supplement for lamb PN but as you say you can go back later in the week.
Lousy weather here today, the storm forecast for tomorrow has arived early:(. I was going to head to the library but will leave it for a few days. My balance is still iffy but I'm hoping it's the weather pressure upsetting it. I've got a few bits I want to do today but nothing too bendy. I'm going to make cream of cauliflower soup in the pressure cooker so it will be ready for lunch. Tonight it's veggie pasta, I got a nifty hand held colander thingy from "Secret Santa" to add to my collection of things to fish things out of pots with to avoid draining them so will give it a test run with the pasta.:)0 -

Some years ago I bought a collander scoop, initially to scoop out whole items from the SC, such as a turkey breast joint, or a large lump of kebab meat. But it has had other uses.
This is like the one I got, costing £12. Of course, I got mine from Home Bargains probably, closer to £2.

Like 98% of my belongings, the scoop and the SC are in storage0
