Having a lovely day with oh and kids in the garden. Just amazing weather.
Could pist something here quite negative about a visit to my mums, but life is too short. I'm doing my best and I'm proud of what I'm achieving and how my boys are achieving. even if she isn't :(

I have reassessed and I'm only going to do work on YouTube channel on weekends as a bit of a hobby and I'm going to focus on my health and ohs business in the weekdays when I am more productive.

In winter I'll book our travel, declutter the house, do more strength training, work on ohs business and maybe YouTube too.

Also going to go on our major holidays on the Christmas break even though it can be slightly more expensive, as this is when we are both quiet at work and I can get extra days off by earning them in the busy times. Also Easter and summer even early sept here can be glorious. West coast of Scotland has beaches, islands and wilderness that I want to enjoy. I took the gamble to move to my ideal location and I should be enjoying it more! Also I find the winters dark and tough (and the football games get cancelled!) so winter breaks just suit me.

We are saving for America (west coast) Australia, South Africa, America (Tennessee) and New Zealand each for two weeks, with 3-4 day city breaks in Europe in Easter and October, we kid a New York City trip too.

So back from daydreaming to the actual nitty gritty of actually saving the cash essentially on my income plus my extras. If you saw my recent video I'm only contributing £500 to travel savings per month. This is with £200 in from tutoring/month which finishes in a month.

    Ideas:
    Spend nothing!
Put tutoring flyers through doors of new estates (always my best customers for some reason)
Put flyers in community centres etc
    Do surveys religiously
    Redo meal plan
    Eat less

That sounds like a really good plan. And one that won't wear you out as you try to achieve it...

It'll drop to £300/month in June and Ive had no bookings for students in the summer, apparently due to brexit the uni says! I should get work at the summer lunch club so that should be £100/week approx for 4 weeks (I hope).

Airbnb should get busier too. Note to self I could look at another room on Airbnb if I don't have students.

Just waiting for Earthie to say, 'Hmm, that's an idea.... it would be an adventure for the kids!' :) (Possibly not with Scottish weather!)

We have considered this before when there was a big sporting event nearby. We decided not to as OH didn't like the idea of other people partying in our house!
